Also , I know it doesn't make logical sense but there is something unsettling about seeing bare feet like that - it's an emotional thing I suppose - e.g. it owuldn't have the same effect with bare feet on beach sand - humans are strange creatures :-)

I had this pedal but got it young due to it being made of plastic and it constantly falling at school.....it eventually broke. My fav setting was the metal 7 can't remember the name was one of the last patches but made your guitar growl.....I need to get a new one but as usual zoom fucking discontinued it <.< why?

This is a really awesome multi. But the distortion sucks so bad. the 505ii, 606 and this.. Distortions sucks on those series.. but the modulations are A

i've seen them online for about 50 quid, not sure whether i'd pay more than that. it was the cheapness that led me to get it to be honest.

try to get it down to $80..but for a $100 buck,it's a good price. this is a good pedal that will last forever. it's made in Japan,and has good quality part. i've used mine for 3yrs (bought 2nd hand, with 1 burnt display LED).. others works fine

i think i had mine for about 10 years before i got rid of it, cz it was my dads before me, and before that it belonged to someone else, it is an amazing pedal ... in some ways i wish i hadnt sold it cz it had whammy and wah which is awesome, but i guess without sellin that i wouldnt have my rr3 lol

There's a great chance that it'll break soon. I own one and there's one thing it's not good at enough, and it's durability. I bought one second-hand from my friend for $80, knowing, that one footswich's microswitch was replaced once, and the variation button and the drive-selection wheel were dead. 5 months later neither patch switches worked properly (10 kicks = 1 patch step), and the analog pedal got dead as well. I had it repaired for $2.50 by another friend, now it's better than a new one.

I would like to correct my former comment, it isn't as good as a new one :)

Just tried it, and discovered that the drive-selection wheel was resoldered incorrectly, so it works the other way round, the endpoints are swapped :) Anyway, I'm happy to have it even this good now.

It's funny though, when you read owners' reviews online, some people love it and some hate it. I guess I just like it, for its price it's more than I expected. Not to mention, it's also much cheaper and easier to carry than a long stomp box chain :)

personally i think that the zoom 505 II was the best pedal ever made for guitar. its all encompassing without going to abstract on the sound quality.

at the start we have heavy wah with heavy distortion at 1.20 we have a whammy pedal like what you can hear tom morello use in the solo of killing in the name of, at 5.11 its again wah except this time with a clean sound, this is a preset called CLNWAH at 9.03 its just a really weird preset you just gotta look at all the presets but the first couple were my own presets .. read the manual ir really helps when creating your own sounds with the zoom
