@tdotgrl-yes he is persian actually,he is a very talented tajik from afghanistan and his mothertongue is farsi so yes he is a 1000%persian! how can you be a tajik/persian and then refer to yourself as a afghan/auwghan when they are a complete different race and are dissimilar to us tajiks from afghanistan in every way :-/ dont be fooled by the name of our country,eg if the name was to change from afghanistan to china it doesnt mean that we whould call ourselves chinese we are persian!

@tdotgrl-why are we persian?because our mothertongue is farsi dari,we have a history which dates back over 5000yrs,because we celebrate NOWRUZ,we have had great persians such as cyrus the great,ferdowsi,samani,maulana balkhi and i can go on like this!this is why we are persian/iranic because we are the indigeneous race who belong to the greater iran,we are not afghan,us persians gave that group of people the name afghan!
