(fave ko din sya) pero di nmn great o wla nmng ngwa na greatness.. nung nag awardan kc ng 25 greatest eh nsa MBA si bong.. si Mon Fernandez ofcourse kht nsa MBA eh di nila pwedeng di isali kc 4 time MVP yta yan.. and deserving tlga.. pero dun sa iba tingin ko mas may greatness si Mr, Excitement.. wala na makakagawa ng ganun kataas n 2pts scored in a single game...and most pts in a single quarter and single half... bsta alam ko 71 pts total nya (mostly 2pts) in 1 game.. ky allan 79 (mostly 3pts)

baka nmn meron kang mga highlights play ni bong alvarez sa alaska? kc bata pa ko nun pero fav ko sya... sna yung game na may record sya na most 2 points scored in 1 game... pang greatest game yun kc wla ng makakapantay nun... prng yung 79 pts ni caiidic... siguro kung di lumipat si bong sa MBA kasali sya sa 25 greatest players.. nominated lng sya pero di naibigay sa knya.. may ilng old players na sa tingin ko mas " GREAT " pa ang ginawa ni bong pati kay magsanoc..t. magaling si ronnie

i dunno about baby dalupan being overrated but having 15 pba titles is something. yes he doesn't have the wizardry of famous coaches like john wooden, dean smith, coach k, bob knight, ron jacobs, etc. but one thing he did best that not all filipino coaches can do is to assemble a "super team" and to play them team basketball.

@loy829 No Ricardo Brown as he was semi-retired around that year due to a heart ailment. He came to SMB in 1989 and was part of the SMB Grand Slam.

Facing the basket, Mon Fernandez was unstoppable....what he didn't have in bulk, he made up for it with speed and agility. Complete game, can shoot from the outside or take it in strong to the hoop. I think He was more effective when he drove to the hoop. That would set up his outside shot

He may be matching up with the second unit of San Miguel that includes Don Ramon Fernandez. As I stated in pex, starting 5 is not best 5. And yeah, Smokin' Joe was just...wow...so good, so entertaining, just on a league of his own.
