Oustanding collection. Pity that Berzerk isn't present, but that wasn't an Atari-made game, so fair enough. Plus those menus are horrendous, though that's hardly a major problem.

I'm not sure on this, but can't you simply just use a few converters to use a AV lead?

You technically can, but you'd lose a lot of quality and you'd have no audio.

what's better? atari anthology or activition anthology? don't they both have atari games?

i have both in my point view the atari anthology is much better because it has 86 games on it, the activision anthology has 56 and they all suck xD go for atari anthology

Does Atari Anthology have E.T. on it? It always annoyed me when people said it was the worst game ever created. You can't have a Worst Atari 2600 game. If you call 1 of them the worst games, then you have to call ALL of them the worst, they were all the same . . but all cool. And at least E.T. had a puzzle solving aspect of the game unlike several other Atari games.

FYI - the Wicko joystock you showed was originally marketed to work on the 2600. It wasn't soely a computer joystick. I still remember the slogan - 'You're joystick won't go Whacko when it's a Wicko!'

I use to keep all my cartridges in an old straw laundry basket, always fun diging out the bottom game. Also you earn rad points for having Solaris :)

finally, someone that holds and uses the atari 2600 joystick like I do (unlike all those people who hold it/ play it weird, imo) with their 2 fingers only moving at the very very top or something along those lines..

i liked that menu, it was cool, but yes they should have had an option to turn it off and just have a regular list, that way you can go from game to game with ease.

I agree that Intellivision Lives! does a better job overall with the collection, but Anthology isn't so bad. At least they give you both the old and advanced versions (are you listening Sega Classics Collection?), but that menu *is* a pain to manuever through. It's still fun, though. Anyway, good review. Nice to see you back.

Compared to other reviewers here at youtube such as AVGn, Armake and Spoony you`re a bit lame, but you are also THE most informative and very nice to listen to... So rock on.
