You hate Wheel Gator more than you hate Infinity Mijinion? That impressed me because Mijinion is one cheap asshole with his cloning and his USELESS weakness. Anyway Wheel Gator is tied for my favorite of all time (with Crush Crawfish). Wheel Gator's battle is the easiest with the X-buster because he rarely goes under and it rapes him if you got the upgrade. So in my mind Strike Chain is useless because of Wheel Gator's strategy.

dude, in wheel gators fight, just scale the wall the whole time. wheel gator will jump up to get u, then just get him with the special weapon and he'll go back under. it works for me

i think wheel gator is easy all you have to do is wall climb to the top and dodge his blades by dash jumping off the wall then shoot him when he pops out.
It's actually much faster if you fight him with the x buster. For one, he won't sink in the oil even when hit with a charged shot, meaning you can score multiple hits. I find that more effective to use than the strike chain.
i found this out by experimenting. if you time your shots with the strike chain right yo can keep him in a loop where you keep hitting him over and over its a little difficult but it can be done
Well, gravity pushes down at 9.8 meters/second, but since the density of water, it is lowered when your under it. That means X can overcome gravity's force and launch himself higher.
megaman x2 vs x-hunters are there two megaman X's or the all of the game with sigma. battle against vs the x-hunters. yes sigma is a live sounds like maverick talk to me
Wheel gator is my favorite boss to fight first because A) he's fun and easy and B) you need his weapon to get most of the good upgrades and secrets.
Don't use the chain on him. It just makes it more of a pain. When he shoots the wheel just go up the opposite wall and climb up until he surfaces, jump right in his face and RELEASE THE KRAKEN (uncharged megabuster shots) all over his face. Lather Rince repeat.
Also. Gator is HARDCORE. HE SWIMS IN BLOOOOOOD!!!! OILY OILY BLOOOOOD!!!!
wheel gator is easy if u use the megabuster when his health is low enough he comes out of the oil starts to spin and goes left and right and u can still hit him while he does it so it makes the fight very short
actually water is heavyer than air, so its inly logical that everything gets "lighter" in water that it gets in air, so if self powered, the object is going to (in this case) jump higher in water, than it would in air. :) love ur LP btw
if you hate wheel gator i got help for you on google type in MEGAMAN X2 PASSWORD GENERATOR and you chose anything boss heart tank anything and press generate and the password will apear!
Just a bit of a heads up, althought I know someone else may have already mentioned it, but you could took a hit from an enemy projectile for the hear tank, and used the grappler for the buster upgrade. Awsome vid tho!

I think Wheel Gator was so tedious for you because you were using his weakness. I think that if you fight him with only the X-Buster, he won't go under the oil as often and will let you hit him more often.
omg... you failed Wheel Gator. You keep on the walls, jump off when a wheel comes up. And you just used the charge buster shots. Easiest boss in the game (Except for the Flame Stag). It's also my favourite boss in the series.... and the dinosaur tank is my favourite level.
@D4rkZer0 Wheel Gator is the best to go to first in my opinion, cause you can automatically go to Morph moths stage and get the armour part, Plus have immediate access to the area where the miniboss guys are when the go to in Overdrive ostrichs stage. Plus if you need sub tanks filled get to that awesome spot above the motorcycle area. Then again, if you miss the jump or want a safe way to get to the Leg part, Set off the G. Crush just before you miss the platform and youll catch the wall.
i always do wheel gator first...i dont know what the big trouble with the boss is... was always pretty easy to me if you just cling to the wall and time when hes gunna jump out
or if you try hard enough you could get the arm upgrade with the strike chain (its tough i've only done it once) but if you get that it shreds his health quick
Well, i don't know if you're talking about it but there 's a game for the ps2 called mega man x collection. In this game you have mega man x 1, 2, 3,4,5 and 6. I'm playing that collection, well i think that's better than in an emulator.
I juts downloaded the entire game in a room site. You can find it in several game room's sites man but i don't remember in which site i downloaded it, but isn't hard to find.
Acutally if you don't like the stages the X-hunters are in just enter a stage you have all ready beaten and use the escape unit and the X-hunters will shuffle around repeat until they are in a level you want to do next.
Of course it takes time to beat Wheel Gator. Watch the window at the boss fight.

The best way to fight Wheel Gator is to use the X-Buster. He'll stay above the surface far more often and use his other attacks.

Acutally if you don't like the stages the X-hunters are in just enter a stage you have all ready beaten and use the escape unit and the X-hunters will shuffle around repeat until they are in a level you want to do next.
