  • neither paul nor rose are so "magic"

  • Why would someone dislike this

  • fuck

  • i tottally magic johnsoned some kid in school fake pass right layup with the left

  • THIS DUDE WAS REALLY GREAT!

  • Michael Jordan couldnt win in the 80s, it was way too competitive back then. such good teams, Lakers, Celtics, Rockets, 76sixers, Hawks, Pistons, Rockets

  • Truly Magic.

  • end of the time.

  • 1:21 - 1:23 = goosebumps. I'm from Boston.

    that shit is terrifying.

flashbulbs going off, yellow jerseys in a jailbreak 5 on 3...a Celtic's fan's nightmare.

  • MAGIC JOHNSON...IS PURE MAGIC!!

    We love youu!!! <3

  • This shows kobe isnt the greatest laker of all time.

  • I'll tell you guys a story. 1987 I was at Magic's basketball camp I was only 9 years old. About half the kids at the camp were sitting on the outdoor courts waiting for our instructor. Out of the 200 or so kids at the camp there were some pretty good young ball players in their early teens. So we're all sitting and along comes Magic he looks at our group and says, "gimme the 4 best guys you got." The amazing thing was after he beat them 11 to 0 he seemed impressed by their talent.

  • now i know how magic johnson got bitches..

  • who's the KING of california ? magic johnson or joe montana

  • ...

  • mj nin asistleri mükemmel

    I love mj

  • Magic

  • ha this is 4:20

  • who else thinks this guy should do one on kobe

  • From this to being a sellout Miami heat dickrider

  • Micheal Jordan is good but imo i dont see him as the best

    Larry bird

    Magic Johnson

    Kareem Abdul

  • @NbaTheHighlights MJ is the greatest...ole dumbass! He has the record for the highest scoring avg in NBA History, the most scoring titles, and the most NBA Finals MVPs. He was on 9 all NBA defensive teams.

  • @Domini478 Magic is the greatest. He dominated the greatest era in NBA history. Magic actually made his teammates better. Michael didn't do that. Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, BJ Armstrong had the best year of their career after Jordan retired the first time and they replaced Jordan with someone from the CBA and was a bad call from the conference finals. Im not taking anything away from Jordan because he is #2 on my list but it's ignorant when people say Jordan is the best with no criteria.

  • @1227weaverb No, MJ is the greatest. He dominated basketball in two decades. He made his teammates better. Magic had help since day 1! He always played with Kareem and Worthy. MJ didn't get help until 1990. The main reason, Horace and BJ went to the all star game because they had more freedom in 1994...ole dumbass! They had lost in the second round, not the conference finals. MJ has the highest scoring avg IN NBA History, the most scoring titles, and the most NBA Finals MVPs.

  • @Domini478 How did he dominate the 80's with no championships? Oh.. And what you said about Jordan making his teammates better is completely false. You make your teammates better by them performing better on the court with you. Magic is the Most Valuable Player to ever play the game of basketball The 80's is by far the greatest era in bball history. Lakers,Celtics,Pistons,Sixers,Rockets were all great TEAMS. The 90's had a lot of great players but not a lot of great TEAMS.

  • @1227weaverb He didn't have help in the 80s unlike Bird and Magic. Bird had 4 hall of famers on his team while Magic had two hall of famers. MJ made his teammates better because he made it easier for them. Teams focused on him a lot while he gave them easy baskets. MJ is the greatest, even Magic agree with that. There wasn't no great teams in the 90s because nobody could beat MJ! Duh!

  • He was a star playing like a Point guard, forward o center, he knew passing, scoring and rebounds, incredible

  • @wb1227 yeah I agree that the 80's were way more competitive than the 90's, but you can't overlook teams like the hawks, magic, supersonics, jazz, cavs, Knicks and many other tough teams out of the 90's

  • @APAsianTV That's exactly my point. Those teams were competitive but were any of those really championship team besides the Jazz? No because it took Michael Jordan's first retirement for the Knicks to even have confidence to even make the Finals. Even Pat Ewing said when Jordan retired that it was his time and when he got into the Finals both times he lost. In the 90's you needed two great players and role players.

  • @wb1227 I agree with you, but I wouldn't consider the 90's a "weak" era

  • @APAsianTV It was significantly weaker because the many expansion teams. Every year it was at least 5 teams with around 20 wins or less. Let me ask you a question do you think the Bulls would have won 6 championships in the 80's? No. Because of less teams in the 80's their were more talent on teams. That's why today's NBA needs contraction because their are too many bad players in the NBA. In the 80's you needed at least 3 Hof's just to make the finals. in the 90's u only needed 2 to make it.

  • @wb1227 Are you brain-dead? By your statement the Bulls could have dominated...They DID have 3 Hof's (Jordan, Pippen, Rodman)

  • @flamethro20 Rodman was only there for the last three years you dickhead. That's why I said in the 80's they would not have won six championships with the 1991-1993 roster because their were only two Hall of Famers during that span. Learn to READ before criticizing.

  • @wb1227 Bulls also had the BEST role players in league history. If you also go by how many hall of famers a team has the 1960's Celtics are unbeatable because they had 9 Hof's...but most people would argue that.

  • All niggers must be proud on this !

  • @leoniscoolful What is your problem?. Anyone who loves basketball is proud of this. Great basketball for future generations to admire. But you're way off; your racist hate has no place here.

  • @MrTachyon3000 No I am not a Racist i was just joking, no hard feeling man! i am 100% no Racist

  • @MrTachyon3000 Lil wayne is my favorite Rapper of all time<3, still call me a Racist?

  • @leoniscoolful Whether you are or not is not for me to know, and even though I'm not black, your comments are inappropriate even if just a joke. Let's put it this way, we have here a great video with great music, from a legendary player Magic Johnson for men women and children in the whole world to admire, and we should at least have a little moral and social responsibility to keep the comments clean.

  • LeBron is closer to a Magic Johnson as passer.

  • @ganstaman22 Lebron?? close to magic no way

  • @Sasuke5090 I said as a passer. Watch LeBron pass one game, he gets that pass there just as good as Magic did. Magic even admitted to that.

  • i wish i was born in the 80s...

  • @tonylebiful

    80's was the best decade

In terms of Sports, Music, Style and Life <3

  • i honestly think LeBron is a beast people jsut cant accept it because Magic Johnson is such a big name. LeBron isnt better than magic yet but people say like he sucks

  • Magic Johnson = Greatest ALL-AROUND B-ball player of All Time!

Let's not forget he played as a 5 in the Finals against Dr. J.

  • I never got to see magic jhonson play but my dad would tell me how great he was saw some vids of him and it was amazing. i would of loved to see him play

  • This is the best Magic Johnson video I've ever seen.. Man this is inspirational!

  • Videos like this inspire:)

  • @jbarba- u lame as hell everybody an yo momma know he was da best PG of da NBA so stop wit dat an give credit where credits due mf

  • he was the greatest pg, but he took an arrow to the dick

  • Truly the greatest.

There wasn't a game I missed as a kid when the Lakers played then, I don't think I've watched one game since those days.

    Magic 4-ever.

    .::g

  • @MichRockHop81108 Real Talk!!!!!

  • @jbarba shut up. dont hate cuz he gave your mom aids he is one of the greatest basketball players in the world

  • The guy is an AIDS infected loser who either got it from being on the down low with a boyfirend or by shooting up. Wish that idiots would stop pretending that he is anything but a complete low life who if it wasn't for his money and paying off doctors should have died from AIDS years ago like everyone else.

  • Comment removed

  • @jbarba he become HIV positive coz he fucked a girl in her ass! Go read before you talk shhit...

  • 1:22 was the greatest pass of all time

  • Magic Johnson + Michael Jordan + Larry Bird + Tim Duncan + Kareem Abdul-Jabbar = Chuck Norris Team

  • @JCRJr1 true, but instead of duncan you could have charles barkely

  • @ArrowToTheBasketball no way karl malone was way better

  • @JCRJr1 How about Magic, Jordan, Larry, Kareem, and Wilt or Bill Russel

  • @kimbobrand7 Magic Johnson won 3 titles with in a four year time frame one in high school, college and the NBA!!!!!

  • @2012ByronRussell wait what? i dont get what you are trying to tell me

  • @JCRJr1 Forgot Ewing

  • @JCRJr1 not chuck norris team just chuck norris

  • @JCRJr1

Personally I would have Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell to make show time more effective. Wilt is the most athletic centre to ever play he was a monster, but Bill Russell's blocks and defense can start a fast break leading to show time.

  • @GarchompNation What? Nobody passed the ball up as well as Kareem. I would love to see more footage of Wilt but Bill Russels game is somewhat incomplete compared to Wilt and Kareem because of offense. Not taking anything away from him by any means just saying Wilt probably was almost as good if not just as good defensively as he was arguably the most dominant offensive player ever as well. The same goes for Kareem as 38,000 points says a lot... There was no showtime without captain skyhook

  • @lahockeyman88

I don't really want the centres passing very much to be honest especially with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird on the court. Wilt can run the fast break better than Kareem, sure he never had the greatest shot in the game but he had that mini jump shot, hooks, dunks and is a lot more athletic and can definitely keep pace with Magic and Jordan.

  • @GarchompNation All i am saying is if you watch showtime lakers kareem would rebound the ball and have it in magics hands in no time. He did it perfectly i wasn't saying he should dribble up the court and pull a pau gasol

  • @JCRJr1 Yer good job man compare 5,10 try hard american martial artist a 6,9 6,6 6,9 8,10 and a 7,1 group of black guys (and larry bird :D)

  • @JCRJr1 Hakeem > KAreem

  • @JCRJr1 and allen iverson

  • @JCRJr1

replace duncan wif barkley and bench jabbar for wilt then chuck norris

  • @JCRJr1 why Duncan .... I think you wanna say Kevin Garnett ;)

  • any video to the requiem song I immediately close. FUCK this song, find another song bitch. WRITE your OWN goddamn song, but stop using this queer (meaning faggot) one.

  • LOL I can picture myself playing with him and getting pissed because I couldn't handle any of his passes. His first name fits him well. Defiantly a legendary player.

  • Football has Xavi as the best playmaker,

    Basketball had Magic Johnson.

The best of his position EVER

  • Someone should put a highlight film together of Earvin's turnovers and terrible defence. I don't understand how a guy with such shitty defence and bad shooting become so popular. Oh yea, I know ... give him a cute nickname and only pay attention to his snazzy passes. Sorry Earvin, you're not fooling this guy.

  • @McButtster LOL I'm sure his feelings are hurt now.

  • @McButtster 5 titles. He didn't fool anyone, it's Magic.

  • @McButtster he won a lot of games. in an era that MADE the NBA as popular as it is. But now it of course sucks because of Jewish people

  • This man was born to play this sport.

  • Its Magic.

  • i watched this video with the song "waking the demon" and it was raw af

  • 3. Julius Erving

    2. Magic Johnson

    1. Larry Bird

  • @WhaleScrotum Switch 2 and 1 :)

  • Oh man, you need to learn how to think! oops, sorry, Can you think? Guess not! :D

  • @MrPatricklee89

atleast i know something about basketball. which you do not.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrPatricklee89

LOL why are you even watching basketball videos...shooting guard wtf

  • Comment removed

  • @MrObame being right or wrong does not threaten my freedom of watching basketball. Looks like you are the one who lost some human right, sigh...I understand the how you got bullied...mostly likely with this attitude TROLLLLL!!!!

  • @MrPatricklee89

oh man, you need to learn how to spell.

    and please stop watching basketball.

  • He's hilarious to me. Those no look passes and that flash to his game. So great!!!

  • This guy made passing the basketball highlights all day. Greatest PG to ever hit the hardwood.

  • How fkn awesome would this be in HD!

  • 2:01 - 2:05 is real magic. Unbelievable!

  • Title of video is wrong. Magic was the best PLAYER of all time!

  • Oscar Roberston all season had triple doubles but Magic was better passer

  • Magic best pg ever

  • The big o was the greatest

  • Oscar Robertson is better Magic is a beast...but Oscar is better

  • Magic is a beast but fuk him he hates on the lakers to much

  • LEGEND!

  • I was born in the wrong time.

  • what a monster.sad story though.Love this guy

  • All the Celtic fans who say Bird was a "great passer" must have forgotten all the Magic Johnson moments.

  • 2ND greatest pg- Magic

    1st -Oscar Robertdon

  • there is only 1 person who has PG skills like Magic.... wait no there isnt nvm...

  • The Best player !!! The worst music !!! This music is horrible !!!!

  • Maaan i Love to play Lakers from 91 in nba 2k11

  • the greatest pg/sg/sf of all-time!!!:)

  • One thing you have to note is that Magic wasn't the most physically gifted, but his skill level was simply out matched. Court vision, fundamentals, inside and outside game, high percentage free throw shooter...the complete package. Greatest PG of all time.

  • Would everyone shut the F**k Up & listen. He is........

EARVIN "GOD DAMN" MAGIC "FOREVER" JOHNSON !!!!!

I saw him play live only once... never forget it. The Magic Man.

  • If you didn't know him, now you know why he's called "MAGIC" Johnson

  • 1:43 at 6'9 that was a sick spin move to create a shot

  • Amazing editing, bad quality, which isn't really ur fault.

  • no one better ever compare lebron to magic again. magic = top 5 all time. lebron = trash, he doesnt even belong on a greatest ever list.

  • greatest point gaurd that will ever exist. period. i just cant believe that his career was cut short by something as innocent as allowing someone to insert their penis into his rectum and ejaculate that terrible disease into him. im glad he is doing well still.

  • After Mike, The greates no doubt

  • 1:12 ooooohh shiiiiiiit

  • The wackest highlight reel ever,You dont have that many to fill the time so the introduction was a min long, then you repeat plays....wack

  • Greatest Lakers: West Chamberlain Magic Kareem Shaq and Kobe

  • thumbs up if ur watchin this in 2011

  • Would have even been better then Jordan if he never would have gotten aids.

  • @RAGIBM3 he never had aids...he was HIV positive which can lead to aids. he had already played 12 nba seasons, both knees were getting a bit gimpy. he wasnt gpoing to play alot longer anyway.some think his value to a team was just as great as jordan's already.

  • IT'S MAGIC

  • Damn that was a rocket pass 3:17

  • that's one big ass point guard

  • OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ahem. To all the haters of Magic Johnson....remember this 43 FOOT BOUNCE PASS! Wtf??? Lmao. Magic Johnson revolutionized the PG position.

  • @ dawood - no i dont think KOBE or LEbron compare anywhere near MJ or Magic for that matter..

@jbob - i agree with you these kids just see the stupid commericals about shoes and think everyone else is garbage ..magic took the game to a new and mj took it from where he lead off and turned the game into what it is today.

  • This nigga Dropped mad dimes can't nobody fuck w/ him he untouchable best PG ever will be seen

  • Insane passing skills that will NEVER be matched

  • This just proved why i think magic was the GOAT compared to mj. MJ was great dont get me wrong, but magic revolutionized the game, and did it with what was given to him.He didnt bitch and moan about him wanting better players around him and, and getting at odds with bill cartwright, and punching steve kerr, and even getting all the hype with NIKE as mj did. Magic came in, was humble, and just loved the game, and led his damn team, you see mj in kobe and bron but we'll never see another magic EVER

  • @DaWoOdPrInCe You're holding Magic on too high of a pedestal. Magic has a well-documented history of complaining about both fellow players and coaches. He arguably got his head coach Westhead fired when he demanded to be traded rather than play in Westhead's offense. He was not super humble. Jordan also revolutioned the game as is shown by the constant search for "the next Jordan" and players frequently trying to emulate both his game and his mannerisms. I'm not commenting on who is the GOAT.

  • @kenpojujitsu3 I agree with you on some parts, im just saying I think magic is superior to jordan. You see kobe and bron and wade even try to emulate MJ. I mean yeah we get all the comparisons and such. And then you have players like Deron williams, and cp3, and john wall, and steve nash that try to emulate magic, I feel kind of wrong picking a GOAT, since there were so many great players before magic and mj. But no doubt id have magic at the 1 and mj at the 2 on my dreamteam.

  • @1:26, Im not passing u the ball cuz u cant get it !!! lol

  • @ijusttellthetruth1 What game/moment was that?

  • Overrated????? i declare any person tat calls magic overrated be sat down, chop off his balls, sew his mouth together, and cut off his eyes lids and be forced to watch his highlights over and over again for the rest of is life....

  • The focking best PG of all time!!

In fact, he could play any position that he wanted...

    And play very well!

  • Magic could play any position he wanted

  • Its something about seeing the number 32 in those colors. So many were suppose to be the next Magic or like Magic. It just cant happen.

  • What song is that?

  • Top 5 of All-Time!!1

  • anybody calling magic overrated should be committed, lol.

  • Do they call him Magic because he can make a penis disappear in his ass?

  • 1) I would take John Stockton, Steve Nash, Isiah Thomas at PG over Earvin.

    2) I would take Larry Bird over Earvin hands down

    3) I would take MJ over any past, current or future NBA player.

  • @McButtster even though there are zero nba general managers that would take bird over magic, and certainly not stockton, nash, or isiah. some would certainly take jordan.

luckily, you are not a gm...steve nash? you lost all credibility with that one.

well, actually you lost all credibility with your very child like comments above.

  • @McButtster The reason the Lakers chose Magic 1st pick & not Bird is because they wanted the maximum championships & they wanted a guy who could play any position well. His rookie yr Kareem got hurt n the finals & Magic started at center & posted 42pts 15reb & 7assts. The Lakers won 5 titles n 8 appearances aftr drafting Magic & he won 3finals mvps, so its no ? they made the correct choice

  • @c2g1980 Red was clever & drafted Bird in 78 when he was a junior, but the Celtics had to wait until he played his senior season before he joined them. So your comment about why Magic was the 1st pick over Bird is wrong. No doubt Magic was a great player, but you're forgetting he never won a title without Kareem who is one of the greatest of all time. I think if the Celtics switched Kareem & Parish, Boston would've won all the titles. When the game was on the line, Jabbar was the go-to guy!

  • @BigTimePride certainly you understand by the time Magics lakers won titles in 1982, 1985, 1987, and 1988, kareem was well past his prime....his age for each of those four title years was 34, 37, 39, and 40.

when the game was on the line?? kareem didnt even play in the deciding game of the 1980 finals, and that would be the best of kareem that the lakers ever had at 32 years old.

  • @roxybuddychanel That's part of what made Kareem so amazing. He was dominating the best centers of the 80s and he was in his 30s. Impressive don't you think? Can you recall him dominating Hakeem? How about him raining sky hooks over McHale and Parish? Make no mistake, Kareem was the go to guy when the game was on the line. I'm a huge Celtics fan and I watched all those game and Kareem was the difference. You put Kareem with Bird and I bet Boston would've won 6 or 8 titles..

  • First I'm a huge fan of basketball. Moments ago I wanted to relax with some magics then I searched "The Best Magic" and there goes this clip in page 2. And I have to admit that the Magic that I searched for is no where close to this Magic Johnson

  • why is it that people think this song goes with everything?

did u know this is the theme song for a heroin abuse movie?

It doens't match with basketball whatsoever.

  • a legend

  • Arguably the best passer EVER.

You had to be on your toes if he was your teammate... hard to tell when he was gonna pass it to you.

  • Great Magic!

  • 2:00 - 2:05 WTF WAS THAT...WTFFFFFFF???!!! My brain is SCRAMBLED

  • 1:24 greatest no look pass ever to me, anybody knows against which team was that ?

  • @23imo23 Washington Bullets, maybe??

  • @hig I don't I just wish to see this episode separately in better quality, or at least photo of it

  • Hey stop being so stupid and going around other people's video saying that d.rose or Kobe Bryant is better then the older generation players. Use your god damn brain, they were from different eras. And seriously, most of these flashy passes originated from magic.
