Supreme Commander's gameplay is practically the same as Total Annihalation, and with it's better graphics, story and perhaps, slightly better A.I. it is the better game, apart from for music. In which i think TA's is the best ever in a video game.

I currently use my TA commander's CD case as a cup holder next to my computer. Putting the rings of water aside, I actually love having this thing always within arm's reach. The CDs still work fine and the music is still flawless. This will forever be one of the greatest musical scores of all time.

SupCom it's a strategy great game. But TA is the best Strategy game in my opinion.

SupCom has its pros and a few cons, but I think its a worthy successor.

TA was a great game...I just wish they'd given it a bit more attention for the storyline and such...that would've given it a HUGE popularity boost that would've made it officially the best, period.

i used to love this game whewn i was younger. AMazing music too, i heard i bit of a song cut out of this and added to a song i heard on the ministry of sound chilled 2008 album.

It was indeed quite epic, but I do think TA had a couple flaws...flaws that SupCom has only partially remedied...although SupCom is TA's spiritual successor.

I could argue about a lot of things as I am studying Game Design and Development, but nonetheless TA is indeed one of the greatest games ever made, especially at its time.

So great. I popped this cd in just a while ago and played it... then fooled around with my ipod. To my surprise, it popped up on my Itunes menu, so i got all the great music. thanks for the post

Yeah. As a matter of fact, you can do that with the Rip function of Windows Media Player too.

...also, if anyone has the game Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain, that is the only way to access their soundtrack that is on-disc.

I loved this game and the soundtrack.

It was the first pc game I ever bought...well...father bought it for me way back when it came out over a decade ago.

I'm actually the "creator' of the Warrior for that patch that came out way back when. I was ecstatic when they took my idea. Something i'll always chuckle about.

Yes it does...I prefer to play SupCom muted with the soundtrack playing on random in the backgroud via WMPlayer...
