Screening was packed, and not one person left the screening unsatisfied

A stunning movie

it's funny how in this movie, they are portrayed as loving & fun animals, however, in the 'real' world , they are considered pest...often you'll see them as road kills in developing countries.

The colour and quality is amazing you can really tell the difference from when you look back at the old vhs version i cant wait to see it tonight at the cinema :D

everyone in my theatre sung along with this number. it was unifying and cool while younger generations wished they knew the words - lol i kid. I am SO GLAD that this is being exposed to the current generation today. Even typical afterschool young teenagers came to see this while the rest would be mid to late 20 - 30's.

It's the same texture...with more vivid colors...the movies that look like they have the story book look (like jungle book, lion king, and tarzan), are always the best. Can't wait for the best movie ever to come back into theaters!! :D

I think disney is finally comming back!Heres how I know.For one,They reasled a new The Fox and the Hound DVD (Which I bought) and they are putting the lion king back in the theaters in 3D!Im totally seeing it!.Even though Scar is my favorite charector(I love scar so much!)I love tomin and pumbaa.They are awsome!

ALL movies were instant classics... the ideas were there... the animation was AMAZING. Now we're all caught up in 3D... CG... all that junk.

i remember when i was like 5 i used 2 have the cd of hakuna matata and whenenver i went 2 my dads or uncles car i used 2 tell him 2 put the radio and put this and when the song finished i used 2 cry then my dad or uncle put replay :D

And on October 4th, the film will be released in high-definition Blu-ray and on Blu-ray 3D. It has been a dream of mine to be able to see The Lion King on a big screen again. Ever since I first watched it in theaters when I was 3 it has been a huge inspiration in my life. If I can see this in theaters like I did when I was 3, I will cry. I will be so happy. Thank you Disney for bringing it back like this.
