was that a take off from stand still? what i mean is, im still struggling to actually have the heli take off from a fixed position. at the moment i find it easiest to hold the heli first then give it a little push upward and fly from there.

from a stand still it seems to veer off sideways and crash.

@legomonkey100 about as long as the other air hogs copters, maybe 10-15 minutes or so? It charges via USB connection to the the base unit or battery which is nice

@codWaWplaya18 it only has 2 channels, for hovering you need 3. see my other video on how to build a RC heli cam for under $60, uses a 3-channel copter that can hover.

@kymaster09 yes, it's a problem outdoors. since its an IR remote, it eventually gets out of range, the signal cuts, and it drops. indoors though you can land it.

You should have had audio too! Maybe narrate while you flew, also would have been good to have someone video you flying so we could have seen the chopper, I have NO idea what it looks like! As far as I know it could be pink with like flower designs, made for girls!

@drkbutler2008 yes, not so great outdoors because they unfortunately went with an IR remote instead of RC. I'm waiting for a rev 2 of this heli, they should make a 3-channel RC version with a little better camera in it.

@madnedproductions yeah it can take alot of damage and they should make it a live camera so its like a uav.
