i like you. you know it wasn't just like the show but you liked it. i liked it too...but people hate me because i like it... they belive the movie was an abomination... i think they should move on and stop acting like kids... the movie was good, nuf said. i liked watching it, yeah it could have been better, and there will be another in the future to beat it. but hey, we can't be so picky. be glad people are noticing this stuff, and making movies on it. it's a compliment to the show. good video

@Xelement18 i liked this movie too, because i enjoyed seeing a live acion version of dragonball with a twist. I have noticed slot of people didn't like it because it wasn't actually like the show, but i think people still should give this movie a chances. its not perfect but it is sure as hell not the worst movie ever.

Umm No offense sir but did you ever see or watch the show? I am a huge DB,DBZ and DBGT fan i'm also a 31 year old man.. This movie was the worse tv show based movie ever.. I was very upset cause the story of the show was written for adults and kids a like.. Movie was written for people who hates the show and wanted to make fun of it. For a non-fan, it was cliched, horrid, bland, cheap and just something I'd expect Steven Seagal to do.

the ki energy effects were too airy I think...I'm used to seeing the solid plasma energy in the cartoon, not this empty fire ki with no solidity...the end with the kamehameha was like red fire vs blue fire and it looked so corny...I really hope they fix the ki problem in the next movie which should look like solid laser energy that is not see through fire...killed the whole movie I think with the lame fire ki effects, better make them solid energy orbs and solid energy beams next time

My son loves Dragon Ball Z too. I never really got into it. But now he tells me all about the shows and I just nod my head and say, "Wow, that's cool!" Then he tells me, "No Mom that's the enemy, that's not cool.'  And I tell him, "Whatever they all look the same to me." : P Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun.

haha i used to be a huge dbz fan back in the day, production wise was great, but they detoured from the original story line greatly, and certain things like goku missing a tail and him transforming into the monkey on an eclipse instead of a full moon kinda annoyed me. But for me id give it a 7/10
