I watched this for the first time when I was 6 soon after it first came out on video and along with being transfixed by how cute DiCaprio was, I remember thinking Kate was the most beautiful woman ever and hoping I would grow up to look like that (yea, obviously didn't happen! haha). i keep wondering when they are going to release this on blu-ray. On blu-ray.com I have already seen the cover art front/back of ultimate blu-ray 3D collectors Edition which contains three versions of the film. (3D version, Original Theatrical Version, and Extended Cut) however, there is no release date of right now for it which I think is really terrible because with them bringing the film back in theaters again you think they would also bring it out on blu-ray as apart of the 100th anniversary.

I disagree with the top comment about that Josephine song. If you watch the "I'm flying" scene as Jack is holding Rose and they're intertwining their fingers, he sings that song in her ear for a second. It's just that you hear more of the song in this part. So this isn't the only part that has that song in it besides the death scene.

They had to cut this scene out not mainly because of timing but a huge flaw was that people back then didn't "wish" on shooting stars and instead saw shooting stars as bad omens. Also, it was probably chosen to be cut out because Kate Doesn't look that great on here. As well as this, the night this happened (Saturday Night, April 12th 1912) the sky wasnt clear so they wouldn't have seen any stars anyway.

@jazz265 Yes, I know. Or the scene where Lovejoy is looking for Jack and Rose. He finds Rose and wants to kill her. Jack attacks him and lovejoy's head hit the window and he started to blood. That explains the blood, seen when Titanic breaks in a half, there he was seen last time. But the film was too long. The film still runs over 3 hrs, with all scenes it would run over 4 hrs.
