  • Hi shane. I have the same (but i only have one) O.B. 3648. I see in your J box inside the house, coming from power station, 3 pipes. is the conduit carrying 4 wires(2 pos. and 2 neg.) to power station or 6(pos,neg, and return)? are they hoohed up paralel and feeding BOTH 2 pole 60's (one at each breaker box)?

  • @thechromewheels

I have 2 hots and 2 neutrals (AC) coming into the house from the power house.

The outbacks take the DC and convert to AC. I power the house with AC. There is no DC in the house.

  • I just wanted 2 ask which is better for the environment Wind Power or Solar Power?!

  • could you tell me about what size solar panel i should get for my house . I would like to know about what kind of dent in my electric bill a solor panel(s) would do . thank you , i know almost nothing about solor power.

  • nevermind I figured it out :), wow your windmill generator is huge lightening rod for that area, ever think of trying to harnass some of that lightening strikes for slow charge back into batteries.

  • Thats interesting you bring that up. I have always wondered if you could build a gigantic capacitor that could store the lightning and then just bleed the voltage out later. Just like those wind up emergency radios or shake up flashlights. Now that would be sweet..

  • hi, very interested in your setup, did you do all the wiring yourself and did it pass inspection? also why do you have that pipe running all the way across the floor beams out to the power station? couldn't you just run it back out next to the input from the street?
