i was 15... me and three other chicks 'dropped' ofcourse... we hitchhiked to the city...
we were all 'dazed and confused' riding in some guys car on 101... he dropped us off literally at agnes mental state hospital ... we were freaking three sheets....
dont know how we got there, but we did... my teeth had music notes coming out from them... my teeth were rattling.... SO IT MUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING!
the dazed and confused from the movie def was great, but the one from 75 maybe, on how the west was won is friggin sweet too I love when they break into the crunge and walter's walk
@LinkBulletBill check out HMMMT from the 2nd Us tour I believe it's filmore east or west, lots of delay/echo on jimmy guitar but is amazing. Search the nobs 1969 and you'll find it
Hey! LOL! I already heard that version! No offense on your behalf, not being rude...
Just love all of Led Zep, but the first time I saw Royal Albert Hall, it was How Many More Times that freaked me with shivers! How Many More Times can I watch that over and over again, but the Fillmore East 1969/1970, because they preformed throughout January the 31 till New Years Eve... Great version! Great love for that version also! God! So much greatness!! Led Zep!
My memory of being there was that it was foggy (or was that just ME? LOL). Do you guys who were there remember there being fog? I remember thinking how it just "fit" the mood and the music.
I was there too. About 200 feet, center stage. The Tubes, Lee Michaels, Roy Harper and Zeppelin. The sound system for Zeppelin was the best, even to this day, I've ever heard. It was so loud and clear and from my distance John Paul Jones' base made my bones vibrate. I was higher than a kite. A happy, happy time.
You too were there.Wow. I was only 7 years old. What a f!$%!$ing trip. I would have given anything, with reason, to have seen the great might Led Zeppelin. The Rocks of thunder.
Stadium in the background. Located in the middle of the Haight Ashbury in 1973 you just kinda know this was one guitar shredding concert. At some point in this concert they released a flock of white doves and one happened to light on Robert Plants outreached hand, and this concert is where that photo was taken. This is a rare historical treat and it is a shame there wasn't more video, or stills to accompany.
I was at this concert. I remember it as being so loud that i hid behind the giant garbage containers in the middle of the Kezar Stadium field. I can't remember how they sounded because it was so long ago but this clip does bring back some memories.
Wow. You witnessed the GODS of rocknroll in their heyday, while they were putting out music like crazy. I probably love more Led Zeppelin then I love my own life. heheheehheehehehhehe.
yes...I've just got the bootleg called Vibes are Real which includes only the final part (Moby,Heartb.,WLL,The Ocean and Commun.Break.),but I dream to have the full gig, that some people say is one of their greatest live perfomances ever!thank u 4 comment,GODS OF ROCK LED ZEPPELIN

Led Zep's best performance (for me):
How Many More Times (Royal Albert Hall 1970)
Bring It On Home (Long Beach Arena 1972)
Whole Lotta Love (Vancouver 1970)
Heartbreaker (Fransisco 1970)
Dazed And Confused (Madison Square Garden 1973)

I was there too, in the back, but still..., there!
Heard about it that morning on LA radio and instantly drove up to Frisco JUST in time to get tickets at the window for the sell out afternoon show.
Yeah, that Rock & Roll thing was supposed to just be a passing fad that we'd soon get over..., well, I'm still waiting for that to be proven!

It is a real treat to see the now defunct Kezar
Stadium in the background. Located in the middle of the Haight Ashbury in 1973 you just kinda know this was one guitar shredding concert. At some point in this concert they released a flock of white doves and one happened to light on Robert Plants outreached hand, and this concert is where that photo was taken.
