This is one band I have always liked but never got to see in concert. Back in the mid 70's we had tickets to Lynyrd Skynyrd and they had to cancel the show so we traded our tickets for an upcoming Foghat concert and then like an idiot we sold them instead of going.

I still regret doing that to this day.

They are playing at the OC Fair in Orange County California this summer with Blue Oyster Cult. Check out their tour schedule. Don't regret any more. Do it now!! I missed The Zep but not the Who. I saw them 4 times!! Saw Bob Seger next on list is Roger Waters.

You're right--Fog originally formed in London, but found major success in the USA while totally ignored in the UK. They migrated to New York in 1975 and have been American-based since then. Through different lineup changes, several American musicians have played in the group(and still do). Today they're still well-respected on the US classic rock scene, while very few people in their native land have even heard of them.

Say thaem at the old Button South in Hallendale Fl. on this tour and they stone cold rocked down the house with 4 Foghat tunes then Dave said it was time for some kickass blues and the crowd went nuts ! If ya left that nite NOT covered in sweat ya hadda be dead !

I love this song because I got hooked on it one summer in the late 1970's when one of the kids from my bothers little league team stayed with us for a week and played the Foghat Live cassette the whole time he was over. I guess getting hooked from GH3 is better than never hearing the song.

This was the one song they played each night for guys only. Go as fast as you can.

For the ladies, they played Fool For The City.

Sometimes, rumbles took place later in the night inside or out in the parking lot and then it was off to a party somewhere. lol

learn how to play a real one. write good songs. rock your ass off in bars and work your way up to stadiums and do it into your twilight years till you drop. like Lonesome Dave here, who passed in 2000, and Rod Price here who passed in 2005.
