  • Sends shivers down my spine every time I watch it. I miss this show.

  • 1 'always play nice'

    2 'always try your hardest'

3 'and even, its ok to cry'

  • Still gets me.

  • im sooo just like Ed :/

  • I absolutely love this song and to hear it sung like this i love it more

  • Zach Braff at his best.

  • I am in year 9 (I am british) and well school has been a rollercoaster. From top grades to family issues then being lost. Eventually I have been able to get back on track and this was SO encouraging! Scrubs should have never gone.

  • *sobs* Can I shoot the blonde intern now?

  • Scrubs has got the best choices of songs :')

  • No show has better music than Scrubs. It's picked so perfectly, and it's amazing how something as nostalgic and happy as the Sesame Street theme tune can be turned into something so sad by some exceptional acting from Zach Braff and a talented musician. Just beautiful.

  • Scrubs brought us so many good songs .. <3

  • I think it is ok to try your best but it is also important to take breaks to.

  • i miss scrubs.. :(

  • @Hecket We all do, so much.

  • i fucking hate denise. terrible character and an inappropriate actress. blonde bimbo walking aroung thinking shes hardass. its so fake. doesnt help that in general women who think that theyre badass annoy the fuck out of me. men are supposed to be hardass, when a woman does it its just fake

  • @sr19 All you've managed to prove there is that you're a sexist moron. Congratz.

  • I watched this the day I left for college. It took me ten minutes to even get out of my chair since I was crying way too much to move.

  • I'm eighteen years old. I haven't cried since I was ten. I'm not gonna go listing off a bunch of stuff that happened to me, because this comment isn't about that. Point being, I don't cry easily. I didn't cry here, but every time I watch it, I still get a giant lump in my throat.

  • @InvisionFreeLegends

Then I'm obliged to call you a self-involved pussy

  • @sentimoko

It's okay, I'd probably call me that, too

  • Dang. I love Scrubs.

  • from 1:40 to 2:01 is kina funny and sad :/

  • I can see 1.58 so many times, but everytime i have goosebumps.

  • It may sound weird to say...but this episode, this ending, and those words changed my life forever :/

  • AZIZ!

  • I literary cried at 1:58.

  • @BrokerJohannes Me too, I cry almost everytime I watch this episode.

  • @Mahuta3105 Tell you something. I'm a guy who hardly cries. I've been through half the hardest parts of my life. My mother passing from cancer. My sister moving and even knowing my two greatest friends die. But after watching this episode of scrubs and many others makes me cry. Because it showed me that I never really did know that my friends and my mother was going to die.

  • its funny how eliot said its gonna be a long year and they just ended the show like nothing

  • There's one thing i don't get, there are a lot of videos online at youtube where i would admit it's everyones right to like it or not, but how the hell can someone don't like this unless he's heartless bastard! -.-'

  • 'no can do other indian guy...' hahaha

  • i was so sad at the part with J.D. and when Jo came i was like "Get the hell outa here!"

  • Intern: you going to the lecture tonight, Aziz: No can do other indian guy, gonna go get me some PIZZA!

  • this episode the one where ben dies (season 3 i think) of his cancer and last episode (10minutes) season 8 finale are the best one ever made scrubs +1

  • @tpm4st3r What about the one where Cox loses all those patients? That's a heartbreking one, and by far one of the best.

  • @Hawaiiman93 you mean the part where ted is singing wayward son and cox forgets his son and didnt do the right schedule for the nurses

  • The most depressing rendition if Sesame Street ever...

  • Zwarrrr

  • holy crap! every time i watch this, no matter how many times i cry... AND I'M A DUDE!

  • LOL, yeah its hard if it isn't my main language its not even my third language so acsept my smiley face =D unless u want to mark this as a spam -.-

  • those inturns litarly ended scrubs >.<

  • @Rs2thegames Its, "interns" and "literally" would it kill you to use proper English. That way I don't have to go to babel fish and figure out what the fuck you're saying.

  • @Rs2thegames They didn't?

  • First episode of Scrubs I ever watched. First time I shed tears over a T.V show.

  • I cried watching this episode.

  • They made so many jokes about JD crying in past episodes, but now when you finally get to see him cry...no joke.

  • This show is the best. it knows exactly how to make the funniest moments ever that make almost hard to stop laughing and then somehow string them together in a way that can almost make you cry.

  • I love Denise, coz she don't take crap from nobody but that was kinda harsh

  • This scene is pretty fantastic, but the new interns of season 8 were a result of absolutely terrible casting.

  • Other Indian guy (L)

  • 7 people arent doing as well as the other interns

  • so basically you can learn all you need as a kid by watching sesame street, then grow up and learn all you need to know from scrubs. awesome

  • 7 people did not get to sesame street

  • "And even, it's ok to cry."

    Beautiful.

  • @218gordon328 that also means its ok not to cry for all those who hate joe.

  • Notice how there's no bottle on the table at 0:22 then bottle on table at 0:26 then no bottle again at 0:32!

  • i like house and scrubs....equally

  • Joshua Radin's version of the Sesame Street theme needs to make its way to iTunes; that being said, this is one of my favorite moments on Scrubs... most people love the show because it's so quirky... I think the show is hilarious, but it's the stripped down moments of clarity and raw emotion that make this show great; you can gets your laughs in and still be moved by the story and the lesson that comes out of it... has to be the most underrated TV show of the 2000's thus far.

  • Zach Braff is simply amazing. He is such a talented actor, director and screenwriter. His performances during the more in depth, emotional scenes just keeps on improving. Love

  • I never wanted this show to end, maybe make it a web series spinoff

  • AZIZ ANSARI!

  • Omfg I'm glad there's other people in the word who ALSO wondered what the name of this song is!!!!!:)

  • Comment removed

  • i hate denise !!!

she is just boring and with no feelings .

  • The song is soooooooooo epic!

  • such a sad ending..

  • about 5000 of these views are mine

  • i actually am in love with scrubs used to watch it years ago but recently got back in to it and everytime i watch this it just really hits home and like the most endings of scrubs i feel completly changed and helps me realise how lucky i am and really makes me excited about the future i dunno i guess in away its a comfort ive never watched house or grays anatomy but i dont think even if i did they could have this effect on me the characters in scrubs are perfect and i feel emotionally attached..

  • whooo scrubs

  • I adore House just as much as I adore Scrubs. Besides, Dr. Cox is a big ol' House parody. They even blatantly proved it in the episode where Dr. Cox hurts his leg, limps, and has to solve a medical mystery. =\ It's not like you have to like one and hate the others. Grey's Anatomy isn't for me, but House is brilliant in a serious way, whereas Scrubs is great on comedy but hits amazingly dramatic highs. Both are two out of a handful of shows I actually bother to turn my TV on for.

  • @horohorosrin Except... Dr. Cox was on TV for over 3 years before House.

That being said, man, wasn't season 8 awesome? It has to be up near the top of the list... from My Last Words to My ABCs, just.. fantastic

  • @PackersBearsFan3 And wouldn't you know, they make references to him being House in-show, anyway?

Yeah, season 8 was great. Then they had to try with that season 9 nonsense. =\

  • @horohorosrin No, yeah, I know, either way there is a connection, whether it's because of the chicken or the egg. They're both still great shows.

  • @PackersBearsFan3 They're both fantastic. :3

  • Just been watching this over and over again... Too bad the people (season 9 sucks) quit. I also love the song

  • I never thought the Sesame Street theme would make me sad.

  • I don't watch Scrubs that often, but I saw this episode this summer with my cousin, and was amazed at the range it had. Most of the episode was incredibly funny, with the Sesame Street characters randomly popping up, but then it suddenly leads to this heartbreaking finale. Who would have guessed that the theme song for one of the greatest children's shows ever could be performed in such a sad yet moving way?

  • still one of my favourite Scrubs scenes.

  • It's sad that as we grow up, we tend to forget the fundamental life lessons we were taught.

  • @royaljuice Yeah. It's like, even with Disney movies, a lot of them teach lessons that can be as important for adults as for children.

  • God the scrubs staff, actors and creative team are so talented.

  • JD's face at 1:58 is heartbreaking.

  • One of the saddest scenes EVER. I cried my eyes out the first time I saw it, and I'm still crying my eyes out

  • @ganrella7908 Check out My Last Words, also in Season 8. Season 8 was amazing.. just like in the beginning. It's a shame they tried to change everything when they did the Med School thing. They should've left it completed at Season 8

  • 7 people have no soul

  • House is ok. It just gets kind of annoying because there isn't a medical miracle or last minute-discovery to save a life every day. Most medicine is routine, with I suppose the occasional spark of life

  • i just saw this ep on comedy central lol

  • i love this show so much. ive got seasons 1 - 8 on dvd (dont want season 9 its gay). watch it everyday

  • 7 people have no heart.

  • This episode made me detest the interns.

  • you can learn everything by watching sesame street... the question is how do i get to sesame street ?

  • it was so sad it made me cry :(

  • zwa! lmao

  • Scrubs is the greatest Show i know. Its so emotional and funny. i love it. They always pick the best songs to play like this and Coldplay, exct. God how to explain this show its really hard but idk whatch it everyday soo woooo!

  • Ed was the host for MTV Movie Awards (Y)

  • Song info : Joshua Radin : Sunny Days

  • @virusj92 Sorry but it's not called Sunny Days. It's the Sesame Street Theme. Though you are correct about the artist.

  • @italiansexgoddess Lol, My mistake..........Then ; )

Saw a video On you tube and someone named it as sunny days so assumed this was it..................

  • @virusj92 No problem. : ) Unfortunately, that happens sometimes(I've done that before). What I hate is when there is a great song that you hear and it's given a wrong name. It makes it much harder to find the song.

  • @italiansexgoddess Yh know the feeling, Been trying to find this song so i can download it but no luck.............

  • @virusj92 I know. I have quite a few songs from Scrubs but it won't give me this song which sucks! : ( But Joshua Radin did a great version even though the original theme is not meant to be sad. ; )

  • Comment removed

  • Luv it.

  • God I love scrubs!, sadly I have watched all episodes, so I just keep on watching this scen, over and over again...

  • this scene almost made me cry! Scrubs is amazing (:

  • Darn it how can you have a happy song get so haunting. What a combo though sesame street, scrubs and joshua radin.

  • haha, the only one of the interns who makes it to season 9 is mahoney

lazy ed and the bich didn't last long at all

  • this is Radin's second song that's been featured in Scrubs. Woah..

  • @CrusoeC66

    it's more than second...

  • @CrusoeC66 I'm pretty sure more than one of Radin's songs have been played before this episode. Also "I'd rather be with you" was then in either the previous or following episode.

  • I love scrubs ! :) Its ammazzzinnnggg :D

  • i remember this episode

  • Just watched this episode on E4 but like song so much had to find it

  • why cant i find this song on itunes? It's driving me crazy. Love scrubs they allway's find good music for the moment. First time i noticed hallelujah was through scrubs.

  • this song is beautiful!!!

  • "No can do, other Indian guy. 'Bout to go get me some pizza!"

    :)

his was such an amazing episode. its such a perfect mix of comedy and drama. and the sesame street theme song playing was a great touch.

  • God i miss scrubs so much how it used to be the new season is allright but i just miss the old guys so much most of all the janitor

  • Zach Braff is the prefect actor for this - he can do amzing comedy and slapstick, but when needed most, he can pull of these beautifully emotional scenes that just make me want to cry and cry. Just the image of him with tears in his eyes as he watches them makes me tear up :(

    Hes amazing.

  • one of the saddest episodes

  • scrubs is better than House, scrubs is funny serious and emotional in the same episode but its perfect balanced so it dosent ruin the show

  • @rubber2k their both great shows imo

  • @rubber2k yea but the last season was terrible

  • @iiHerpes No. i would even say Season 8 is one of the Best.

(The Movie with the old black guy was #1)

  • @Nintellignc he means season 9. And i don't really count it as one of the scrubs seasons because it barely had JD and no Eliot... It was horrible

  • @Leniaal i counted ''last season'' as the true scrubs seasons, not the remake.

  • @rubber2k You're right,, but still House is awesome. You know i'm right.

  • these interns suck

  • House is funny too. scrubs is more comedy house is the perfect DOCTOR SHOW . Scrubs is the perfect DOCTOR COMEDY you see the difference

  • @logisysmax20

The point is, scrubs is even more emotional sometimes and i have to laugh every time.

Maybe Dr. House is better for some doctors or something but Scrubs touches me even more.

  • scrubs is a dramedy

  • god DAMN scrubs is a great show..

Only Scrubs can put all of it together, in such a beautiful way.

Grays anotomy, and HOUSE suck balls. Scrubs is where its at.

Drama, Comedy, and everything you can want in a show.

Not to mention , i have been watching scrubs for over 5 years, and it still teaches me lessons to this day.

Every episode ends with something, and you can normally take something from it, and apply it to your own life.

  • @blizzy00 House puts comedy and drama together in a beautiful way as well, you sound to me like somebody who hasn't given it a real go, but believe me blizzy00san, it is a quality show, just more drama than comedy, as scrubs is more comedy than drama, both great shows

  • @blizzy00 I enjoy Scrubs. I like House too, but it's gets a bit annoying at times. Oh and Greys Anatomy is just annoyingly neurotic

  • @blizzy00 HOUSE FTW

  • @TheNickelbackfan1996 Although I agree that House is amazing, your username makes me want to punch though a wall.

  • even though ino ed is a fictional character is still hate him so much!

  • 'bout to go get me some PIZZA!

  • what season is this from again..?????

  • Season 8 Episode My ABC.. Like episode 5 or something, you can check ut up on IMDB:)

  • @Seb590

    episode 1 ^^

  • @bencben2k8 Episode 6 Season 8 :)

  • SWA!

  • SWA!!!

  • AZIZ?!

  • This song is so sad, like during this part of the episode, this is my favorite scrubs episode

  • Ed was awesome too bad he left scrubs :) but he is in parks and recreation now and that show is AMAZING

  • why does no one ever know where sesame street is...like map quest it or something dont ask a million times...

  • @bender238 The same reason we can't find Carmen Sandiego. :(

  • I love this episode, and the song :D

  • agreed, ther songs not on itunes though, so a youtube-mp3 converter is in order :)

  • agreed, it's an amazing song.

    I defo want it :P

  • ive got it :)

if you want it go to:

    video2mp3 . net

and you see to in the related videos section is, click on Joshua Radin, then copy the link and put it into the box on video2mp3 website, takes a couple of seconds to convert, then you can download the song :)

    You are a legend :)

  • no problemo

  • i miss ed!!!

  • such a poignant moment, absolutely love scrubs. music is beautiful

  • If i ever meet ed i am going to kick the crap out of him

  • People! Check out my othe Joshua Radin videos!

  • Ed is great: "sa sa sa Syphalis!"

  • bahahahahahA! the start of the video is priceless. *click* ZWA! HA!

  • ED IS THE BEST!!

  • "No can do other Indian guy, bout to go get me some pizza!"

    Funny!!!

  • lol he wasnt in two episodes....,..,two not sooo good episodes

  • hes only not in 1 episode where janitor locks jd in the water tower

  • what are you guys talking about... jds in every episode of season 8

  • unless you're counting him speaking on the phone, while not appearing on camera, he isn't in two episodes in Season 8.

    813 - My

  • 813 - My Full Moon, and

    809 - My Absence

  • the writers of this show are AMAZING! I mean, how many writers out there would have been able to put sesame street, a doctor show, comedy, and drmama all together in one show in 30 minutes? They rock!

  • 20 minutes

  • i remember this making me cry :(

  • I dont think there's an "bad" episode, but season 7 was not as good as the rest of the seasons, but it's still enjoyable.
