The thing that i dont like about fable 2 is there isnt any armour apart from knothole and there isnt a nice variety of battle clothes but you have to admit the story line to both of them are amazing
@daimian666 I disagree to some extent about the armor thing. Yes, it would be nice, but to be honest I didn't even notice this until Westcliff. Clearly if such a change can go unnoticed then it isn't important.
And yes, they both had great stories... except for the "end" of Fable 2. That was so anti-climactic, I was really disappointed by that. I do like the idea of having fable 3 be divided into two different parts though, that sounds interesting. I hope that the midpoint is more climactic.
If all they're gonna fix in this game is emotions, it will be just as flawed as the last game. I honestly thought the first one was infinitely better than the second in every aspect, and I really hope this one can do better.

Don't get me wrong, emotions thing is what makes fable fun and the hand shaking and holding sounds like fun because its something no other game has done but there drifting away from fighting and that really sucks. Fable 1 was better than 2, but the only problem was i was sick of no open world. it was just straight paths. You couldn't go wandering and exploring like you can in fable 2

The guns are spectacular. I am a Fable honk, but after just now playing Fable 2, I can't fathom how I never gave it a chance. It gives you unlimited stuff to do unlike the first one where once you complete it, it's over, nothing to do.
Another problem was the story line. Not mystical or mysterious like the first one. The 2 one also screwed up magic so bad. The area effect idea was cool but magic was never strong enough to be a mage on your own. The weapons and armor in fable 1 were hure and glorious. Unlike fable 2 where all you could wear was like 5 outfits that all looked the same. The chick i had looked huge tall and manly no one wants that. The old horns looked cooler too.
also forgot, the sword idea sounds cool but you know their will only be to out comes of what they wil look like. i also spelled huge like hure in the previous comment, my bad, in case you were wondering
I agree to an extent. I feel there should have been more outfits and armor, but Fable had TOO MANY unnecessary items and weapons which is why they cut back. In the first one, you had to wear the best protection which was the Archon Armour (unless you used shield) which many people did, and made armour unnecessary. Fable was EASY, Fable 2 is easy... but can give you problems at first, especially if you use wrong magic on certain enemies.
Both were way to easy but to say fable 1 had to many items is crazy. Thats the whole point. To use what you want to use. i wore what i thought loked coolest. Not what was the best. but people usually looked the same. I dont know about you but i think Peter molenex (or what ever his name is) Lies so much about whats going to be in the game. He always makes tons of promises but never keeps them.
@OnlyTheWeakNeedHelp I like the idea of fable but it also needs to be more like Oblivion or fallout 3, with a more complex story line and alot more side quests. I do like the reactions of people in fable as you choose to do good or bad things, and how you change forms but thats about it. It lacks details
they should have a choice in the beginning of the game to see if you destroyed jacks mask of the first fable and if you did not the story should be changed because then you could fight a person who put jacks mask on and became jack of blades and he wants revenge from the first game on the heros bloodline that would be cool
Okay, here's my suggestion for Peter, otherwise, I probably won't feel the theme he's trying to implement:
What if your character is Pure & Evil and has a spouse who is a goody-two-shoes. During your reign, maybe there'll be a mini-event that your Spouse betrays you by revealing your invasion plan to the other country's leader. Upon finding out, you make the choice to spare her or... sent to prison, have her hang, or just simply kill her.

What killed Fable 2 was bringing it too far into the future, bringing it out of medieval fantasy and closer to the industrial age. You add guns and suddenly armor is useless. You make magic rare and suddenly there aren't very many interesting or powerful enemies. The main bad guy couldn't hold a candle to the Jack of Blades. And whatever happened to Scythe? How do they expect us to believe angry villagers wiped out the Heroes Guild? Fable 2 was just ill-conceived.

@AlienMagi Yeah, he was old, but he was immortal, he was some kind of undead. Plus I still don't buy the whole "villagers of Bowerstone wipes out the heroes' guild" when one hero could wipe out the whole village of Bowerstone itself. They just went way too far. Even having Theresa still around doesn't make much sense.
@agentvirgo I'm not fammilear with the fable 2 story since I've got no xbox, but yeah that heroes guild was wiped out by the villagers might be a little weird. But note that everyone that was in heroes guild in fable 2, they were all just some little apprentices.
And I'm pretty sure theresa won't be included in fable 3 since it's supposed to be 50 years later
fable 3 should be good, I must admit tho I would have like to see fist fighting like there was in the first game, as there was'nt any in the second...... from this teaser tho it does seem that have tried very hard to improve on emotion's, lets just hope they have tried hard with everything else.

I was disappointed with Fable II with mostly everything aside from the fact that it's a never-ending game. Fable I (The Lost Chapters) had a better story-line then Fable II. So, I'm hoping that Fable III has a better story-line than Fable II and that it has more weapons, hair-styles, and that there are armors again instead of JUST clothing.
Peter Molyneux better not fuck this one up... The first and second games fell short with the promises he'd said would be included in the game. Don't get me wrong, I love the Fable series, but I noticed that when he said "You will be able to shake their hand. Or you can refuse to shake their hand." I found myself thinking "...so what?" Really crossing my fingers for this game to turn out great, since recent games have set the bar high.
I loved the idea of Being King of Albion, but i don't really see a plot? In Fable 2 the Plot was awsome, but becoming king seems like something from Age of Empires. I can't w8 till Fable 3 comes out!
@powerjazzatitain well the main plot of this game is to take over your hero (king/queen) from fable 2 and rule over albion, and there is probably gonna be missions on gaining the ranks to build up to the climax of becoming king.

OMG!!!!! I AM THE BIGGEST FABLE FAN EVER!!! I was number 1 on the fable 2 pubgame leader boards for 4 months tell they cleared them. Ive beat fable 1 atleast 20 times and have put over 300 hrs in it and 150 in the second one. Beat all the DLC Have both lost chapters and original Fable. I have a 5 foot tall box display I got at my gamestop in my room for fable 2. Add Kanobin. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS!!!!!! IT BETTER NOT BE A LET DOWN LIKE 2!!!!!!!! ^_^ hehehe

@InfamousWoodsider the problem with armor is you would obviously want to go for the best srmor, which means insead of looking how you want to look you wear the best armor and everyone lloks the same. also the game has introduced gunpowder and gone past the age of armor so they can't bring it back unless they do a game back in time
I think what would be a good idea is if instead of being told info on people like you could on fable 2, you have to discover it by befriending people, like in fable 2 where it would say the persons name and there sexuality, it should all be unknown until you make friends with them

they should have a choice in the beginning of the game to see if you destroyed jacks mask of the first fable and if you did not the story should be changed because then you could fight a person who put jacks mask on and became jack of blades and he wants revenge from the first game on the heros bloodline that would be cool

Okay, here's my suggestion for Peter, otherwise, I probably won't feel the theme he's trying to implement:
What if your character is Pure & Evil and has a spouse who is a goody-two-shoes. During your reign, maybe there'll be a mini-event that your Spouse betrays you by revealing your invasion plan to the other country's leader. Upon finding out, you make the choice to spare her or... sent to prison, have her hang, or just simply kill her.

What killed Fable 2 was bringing it too far into the future, bringing it out of medieval fantasy and closer to the industrial age. You add guns and suddenly armor is useless. You make magic rare and suddenly there aren't very many interesting or powerful enemies. The main bad guy couldn't hold a candle to the Jack of Blades. And whatever happened to Scythe? How do they expect us to believe angry villagers wiped out the Heroes Guild? Fable 2 was just ill-conceived.

@AlienMagi Yeah, he was old, but he was immortal, he was some kind of undead. Plus I still don't buy the whole "villagers of Bowerstone wipes out the heroes' guild" when one hero could wipe out the whole village of Bowerstone itself. They just went way too far. Even having Theresa still around doesn't make much sense.

@agentvirgo I'm not fammilear with the fable 2 story since I've got no xbox, but yeah that heroes guild was wiped out by the villagers might be a little weird. But note that everyone that was in heroes guild in fable 2, they were all just some little apprentices.
And I'm pretty sure theresa won't be included in fable 3 since it's supposed to be 50 years later

fable 3 should be good, I must admit tho I would have like to see fist fighting like there was in the first game, as there was'nt any in the second...... from this teaser tho it does seem that have tried very hard to improve on emotion's, lets just hope they have tried hard with everything else.

With Fable 2 I didnt realise untill after I completed the game about three times lol when they make games well I find they can take things away from an original which does'nt spoil the any new ones, Aslong as they dont do what everyone else is doing at the mo kane and lynch Example completed on hard in five hours lmao,

And there is plenty of connections between fable I and II, what are you talking about? The girl that helps you in fable II with the hood? She was your sister in the first game...

I was disappointed with Fable II with mostly everything aside from the fact that it's a never-ending game. Fable I (The Lost Chapters) had a better story-line then Fable II. So, I'm hoping that Fable III has a better story-line than Fable II and that it has more weapons, hair-styles, and that there are armors again instead of JUST clothing.

They seem to concetrate more on developing yourself as a character, a persona.
There also seems to be more of an emphasis on action and interactivity.

Peter Molyneux better not fuck this one up... The first and second games fell short with the promises he'd said would be included in the game. Don't get me wrong, I love the Fable series, but I noticed that when he said "You will be able to shake their hand. Or you can refuse to shake their hand." I found myself thinking "...so what?" Really crossing my fingers for this game to turn out great, since recent games have set the bar high.

I loved the idea of Being King of Albion, but i don't really see a plot? In Fable 2 the Plot was awsome, but becoming king seems like something from Age of Empires. I can't w8 till Fable 3 comes out!

@powerjazzatitain well the main plot of this game is to take over your hero (king/queen) from fable 2 and rule over albion, and there is probably gonna be missions on gaining the ranks to build up to the climax of becoming king.

there adding in so much more customization, making the game your own! no more villagers that look the same, standard weapons will change with you so no more seeking that one epic weapon! and morphing on a larger scale that affects everything you do with a "touch" feature being implemented, this game is gonna rock!

ok in fable three you can design how your sword looks like and as u level up u will get a stonger sword u can even change the shape of it and name it and u could even sell it online and in fable three when u get mad u can go into this form that when u r good u get angle wings and when your bad u get devil wings

OMG!!!!! I AM THE BIGGEST FABLE FAN EVER!!! I was number 1 on the fable 2 pubgame leader boards for 4 months tell they cleared them. Ive beat fable 1 atleast 20 times and have put over 300 hrs in it and 150 in the second one. Beat all the DLC Have both lost chapters and original Fable. I have a 5 foot tall box display I got at my gamestop in my room for fable 2. Add Kanobin. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS!!!!!! IT BETTER NOT BE A LET DOWN LIKE 2!!!!!!!! ^_^ hehehe

@InfamousWoodsider the problem with armor is you would obviously want to go for the best srmor, which means insead of looking how you want to look you wear the best armor and everyone lloks the same. also the game has introduced gunpowder and gone past the age of armor so they can't bring it back unless they do a game back in time

I think what would be a good idea is if instead of being told info on people like you could on fable 2, you have to discover it by befriending people, like in fable 2 where it would say the persons name and there sexuality, it should all be unknown until you make friends with them
