BA owns 223 aircraft, what you were seeing there was probably only 30 aircraft tops, that is only 13% of the aircraft parked at LHR. LHR is where a majority of their aircraft are stationed, Willie Walsh was not lying as they indeed handled well over 60% of passengers.
That is a great view. I just don`t understand how can Willie Walsh say that they are flying 60% of them, if the airport is full of the airplanes...is he telling the truth?
@paraballooner BA are leasing aircraft, I think around 10 airlines have provided aircraft and crew to cover a number of flights for BA during the strike.
Were they strike on the day ? I can see all 230+ Aircrafts parked up ,,, lolz
