They will not use Tim Scott's name as a weapon - because Tim Scott himself has said he does not want to be thee go-to guy on black relations. @FreeCapital It should tell you something that all of the black democrats are from majority black districts. Both West, and Scott are from majority white districts, yet somehow conservatives are the racists ones. Both men seem more real to me than any while republican I can think of maybe with the exception of Paul Ryan and Chris Christie. Along those lines, I hope these two makes friends with Paul Ryan fast. Get serious about balancing this budget.

A Republican African-American. It takes a strong person to buck a party that always lays claim to your race, yet never stands for your values; especially when they think they own you. I'm a Hispanic from la, and I'd get liberal whites going, "are you happy?". I'd say, "happy for what?" well, about Obama, about the election!" I can't tell you how frustrated that makes me.
