Your mom looks gorgeous and sounds very sweet! I totally agree with her.. I will be 50 this year and not scared one bit. I've always taken care of myself not only on the outside but inside, healthy eating and exercising.. My grandmother is 98 years old (will be 99 this year!) and she taught me that if you want to age gracefully you need to take care of yourself when you are young! I couldn't be more obedient! Love your videos !!!

That last tip and keeping going even if something is going on in your life is so true! When my great grandma was very sick with cancer she would every morning brush her hair (or have someone else do it) she hardly ever did a full face of makeup before she was sick but she would every day have on fire engine red lipstick, and she kept that up even when she was sick. she passed away about 11 years a go with her hair brushed and that lipstick on. it really made it easier for everyone.

and i totally agree with all of those points! my grandmother always started eating less (and healthier; sodium management, etc), and it definatley helped her! unfortunately it didnt prevent cancer, but it certainly kept her look healthy and fit even into her 70s! :)

I LOVED this! Emily, the things your mother said are so true! I'm pregnant with my second and with my first I kind of fell out of doing these routines, particularly when I decided to stay home with my daughter. With this pregnancy I find that even though I look great, I actually feel better doing my little two step beauty routine and putting some makeup on in the morning. And eating well can never make you feel bad, lol!
