  • this isn't a movie, this is a grim prediction of what humanity will become

  • Metro 2033 For Kids!

  • Me, too much like the song the head end as it sounds like the microphone and quiets to.and film demonstrates how it will appear here.

  • what's a yonker?

  • @Vampiyaa Yonkers is a City in New York.

  • @RabdonFilms hehe i thought it was a chocolate bar :D

  • If you combine Toy Story and Wall-e, and the best thing I can imagine it to be is something like 9

  • "And we won't come home untill we kissed a girl.." And they never came home..

  • This reminds me of Fallout 3.

  • I love the Universe.

    Space...the final frontier...

  • How did you get the movie downloaded and put onto this video?

  • The whole opening act of Wall E is possibly one of the greatest things I've ever seen in the cinema. I could barely keep myself from crying over how beautiful it was.

  • this movie is a huge lesson for human being, just a chef d'oeuvre !

  • How the hell did someone dislike this?

Hello Dolly and a PixarDisney Film, This is near as good as it gets :o

  • omg how many satelites are there orbiting earth at 0:46

  • @Auge2011 Its trash...

  • @galloway62042009 No, they're satelites

  • @Dalekjamie There ARE satelites but theres also alot Of junk visible...

  • @galloway62042009 These pieces of junk are actually satellites, because they're orbiting the planet.

  • How many people actually knew that the music is from Hello Dolly??? One of my fav musicals since I was a little girl!!!

  • The people who made this up are fucked up amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1 person got paid by Dreamworks to dislike this. :/

  • Please, guys: if you're as astounded as me by the fact that this video has had NO dislikes yet, check out the original soundtrack used in this opening scene. WALL-E is a wonderful movie, and its wonder stems from the fact that it recognizes other, much older wonderful movies. Look up Hello Dolly - however lame it sounds - and you won't be disappointed. WALL-E clearly wasn't :-)

  • @oxfordruse 1 prick disliked it... just to spite you.

  • omg no dislikes?

  • this is the first youtube clip i have seen with no dislikes. but then again its wall-e so how could u not like it?

  • just tossing this out there but another good song would be "what a wonderful world" by louis armstrong

  • Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.

  • BARNABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • so much trash

  • This movie introduced about three whole new generations of audience to the wonder that is Hello, Dolly! I'm 27 but I've been a massive fan of this beautiful movie since I was about four years old, and I'm so glad that Pixar has introduced so many new people to this stunning film. :-)

  • Call me lame, but my favourite part was the guy with the plant.

"There you are, little guy, you just needed someone to take care of you."

I cried when he looked at the globe, thinking 'just like the earth'.

  • Disney's Version of AVATAR

  • I love this. Michael Crawford sounds so young (partly 'cos he was then) singing this. It's hard to imagine that his voice here would become the booming emotionally driven voice behind The Phantom.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • @Chrisrex83 I know what you mean, I had no clue Michael Crawford even did anything else besides Phantom until I bought on of his Cd's when he spoke of Gene Kelly hiring him for Hello Dolly, then I went and saw the movie and WOW i love it! lol

  • @PhantomRapture Yeah, he's been in quite a lot over the years, and is quite a funny man. I still love watching him in the comedy series "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" where he played Frank Spencer. You can see clips on youtube. His next stop is playing The Wizard in Lloyd Webber's new adaption of The Wizard of Oz!

  • This movie has a very important message. It is about how we need to save the Earth before it turns into this garbage land. And I think Pixar always has a good message for all of their films. Very inspiring.

  • I love this opening! <3

  • SHANNA DO U HAVE A BOYFRIEND :(

  • Somehow it sounds better on the movie

  • Pixar has always made great animation films. But this, without a doubt, tops all of their own film, and most other films. It restores faith in the animation films. It captures the magic and wonder as past Disney films, which is something I have not seen in most modern animation films.

This is one of greatest achievements in cinematic history, and I encourage everyone to see this.

  • Out there! Full of shine! And full of sparkle!

Close your eyes and see it glisten Bournabe!!

    Listen Bournabe!!!!!!

  • Pixar NEVER dissapoints.

  • I feel in love with this song when I watched the movie in theaters and I asked my mom what musical it was from she told me it was from Hello Dolly and I asked her if we could watch it. And before I knew it, she bought Hello Dolly and we watched it all the way through. I loved it!!!!

  • Brilliant use of this tune.

  • Sound a bit weak, but best video qualtiy

  • Such a beautiful film.

I love this scene so much, its brilliant.. the contrast between the ruined earth, and all the hope that shines through from the song, e.g. "theres lots of world out there" and "we won't come home until we've kissed a girl" as it fades out to show the grim reality of planet earth.

    Brings tears to my eyes.

  • @edzor52 i love the way the music brings all the robot together

  • This intro actually made me tear up a little the first time I saw it. Just seeing this grim portrait of the world... Best movie ever, by far.

  • @torktheghost

Very good movie indeed. I remember when I watched it for the first time... I knew from the commercials that Earth had "been trashed" and figured it was some generic post-apocalyptic set up... But you just don't realize the sheer scope of the damage till you see this in the theater. I actually choked up at 00:55 when I first realized all those "hills" were garbage piles. And at 1:05, when you see the garbage city, it is just a massive "Earths Fcked" moment

  • @torktheghost It looks sad, but cheer up. You live now, and now we have a green world! =D

  • @torktheghost

I know right, the grim world to the sound of such an upbeat song.

  • @torktheghost me too. everyone felt the same way and I won't lie to ya.

  • This is a great opening. It really captures the brilliance of the film.

  • I love how Disney punched up the sound on the music, either that or they re-orchestrated it, and laid the original lyrics over the top of it.

    In any case, first rate.

  • thankyou for posting this
