I'm impressed with the rapid growth. How and what are you dosing your tank. Have mine 8 years and don't have that much purple coralline. Fearful of od-ing on additives
hey dude im trying to switch my 90 gallon south american fresh water tank to a reef tank and was wondering if and how to put an overflow in then i came across ur video and saw u had a hang on the back one. your tank looks amazing and was wondering the specific brand of ur overflow thanks a ton bro
@fishtank......i really like the coralline algae in ur tank. I recently bought 'Reefcall' and was wondering if thats a good product for calcium, hence an algae boost? I was also wondering, whats the BEST, Cheapest , and easy to read calcium test kit? Also, do u think frog spawn coral can grow under 2 T5 bulbs(39wtts each) in a 38 gallon tank? Thnk in advance and once again nice tank!
you hippo has got big sense the last update glad to see an update those clams are awesome and so is that sail fin tang also i wasnted to say i like how your corals move with the flow you have
very nice.in the process of converting my 282 to the redsea max 250 as of this week.hope to get it up and down by the end of the week.how did you swich yours over?did you wait for a cycle or just move it all over?peace
@dougnight44 i would have loved to cycle it first but no i couldn't because the tanks were going into the same spot... go buy new, clean blue totes, put 50% OF water in one, coral in the other, fish in the other, and quickly switch the tanks... add your live rock... add the NEW WATER first... as much as you dont have left... then fill the rest using the water you saved... since your tank is so small, if the tanks are in different spots i would HIGHLY recommend cycling the new one first...
