i was for these but the sales men had me listen to the paradigm monitor 11 v6 with a cc390 center channel and they blew away the klipsch but thats my ears
Very nice system. one of the few systems where the speakers are sey up correctly.
In a Hi-Fi system there should be nothing between the main tower speakers or as little as possible because the speakers will immage each other and that will improbe the sound quality. Way to go man ! Very clean with great placement.
I have the Klipsch XB10 as my rear surrounds. Check out my video
Klipsch are amazing and that subwoofer is of the charts, about to re do my Home theater, already replaced my 50" Sanyo 720p with a Samsung 1080p next... Surround sound system, I'll take a good look at Klipsch again. thanks for sharing.
Depends how much you are willing to spend, Polk RTI's are SOLID, just amazing sound and very natural. I'm all about polk and I think it is a better value for the money.
i love big center speakers. It's the most important speaker in a surroundsystem. Makes the dialog seem fuller and realistic. Nice to see, some people still go big in the middle
Hey man! I just got some rf-82s also and they are awesome. I have a question though. What kind of speaker wire do you use, what gauge, and would you recommend banana plugs? I just want to get the best wire possible for my system and I hear that the banana plugs improve sound quality. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance man.
going thru your vids you do know your gear I love correct horn implementation in speakers and Klipsch definitively knows how to engineer great sounding speakers. Have you listen to the Klipsch Ultra 2 speakers? they will blow your brains away and then some.... and still retain the musical part within them. I went through so many speakers but I always felt I need something more fulfilling and thats when I found the Horn loaded compression drivers from Klipsch and JBL true hi db emotion speakers
hey ur receiver is 7.1 surround? could i use it in 5.1? getting my klipsch home theater system from best buy, what would be a good receiver to use? the speakers im getting are Klipsch - 12" 650W Powered Subwoofer, Klipsch - Icon Dual 5-1/4" 2-Way Center-Channel Speaker VC-25, Klipsch-Icon 5-1/4" Bookshelf Speakers(for the fronts) and Polk Audio - 5-1/4" Bookshelf Speakers (for the rears) forgot to ask about the receiver though! do i need a 650W receiver for the sub or will a 375W receiver do?
my receiver is a 7.1 receiver, but all 7.1 avr's can be used in a 5.1 config as well.
Receivers Manufacturers usually over-quote wattage, so it's hard to say. T For example, Sony might quote 1000 watts on a receiver, while Harmon Kardon quotes an accurate 450 watts and still sounds better.
BTW subwoofers have their own amplifier built in(except for HTIB subs), so you don't need to worry about the receiver powering the sub.
That's a very nice system you have there man! 5 stars! I'm a huge Klipsch fan myself. What receiver do you have for your system or what would you recommend? I'm thinking about getting the rf-52 system with a rx-3900 yamaha receiver. I would still like your input though.
GOO KLIPSCH!!! Thanks man....my receiver is an Onkyo TX-SR 705....the rx-3900 isn't a bad choice. I would go with an Onkyo, but that's just my personal preference for the Brand! when you put your system up, be sure to post a video!! we need more Klipsch videos on here!!! lol
Haha! You're right, we need more videos out there of klipsch speakers. I'll try to get a video up of my system when I get it, I just need to get it first. Lol!
heyy, the total speaker system cost 3500...not including the receiver or any other components. If you're interested, Vanns has these speakers (except for the Rx 54's which they stopped making earlier this year since the XF-48's finally started selling well)
Nah these speakers are way better than the speakers in the gaming room. The speakers in the ceiling of the gaming room cost 2700 over all. The thing is, because that room is a small room, the speakers don't need to be as powerful as these to play loudly and remain accurate.
Yeah, I don't really need so much sound from the speakers. I just want good quality sound, and high enough sound so I get the feeling from the game/movie. And it's pretty damn smart to have speakers in the roof. Dunno what it's called inside a house lol.
I used to play this piece, second violin soloist though.
