'cause it's just like a 3x3x3 but instead of square corners they have a round shape and the last layer is twice as big with "two" layer that are in fact stick one on the other... green and orange pieces never leaves each other... so it's just like a 3x3x3 with color per layer instead of side.

really the only way for it to be cylinder is in \its solved form, therefore colors dont matter on this cube your only reallt trying to make a cylinder with no regard to color

I was simply pointing out that the colours make no difference to the cylinder, only make it look pretty. As far as I could tell, there is no way to exchange the positions of them; as such you only have to make a cylinder, not worry about colours.

Nah, the algorithms for that would be the same as the 3x3.. he solved it in the same way too. Only difference is because of the color scheme, he doesn't have to do the edges of the F2L, and he can skip the PLL. Sweet puzzle btw, I might make something like that when I get more cubes.
