  • hi! i was wondering if you still like your tommee tippee bottle for your son. i have used dr. brown's years ago and i loved it but it was time consuming for washing the bottles. and now i'm goin to have another baby and im due next month and i'm still looking for new bottles. can you tell me if you still like your tommee tippee and if it leaks or if the nipple collapse? thank you and please make more videos about babies. thank you!!!!

  • well this vedio was helfull i went out n bought the starter kit but im worried the baby gettin air in the system, i havent tried it yet n it dont come in glass wich i prefur, from 0-3 months. for my first child i used dr brown wich was great never had gas, but like u said to many parts, ,so have you used it wat r the results

  • @shordy77 My son loves this bottle still. I have not had any issues or nipple confusion so far.

  • The nipple cleaner is amazing, what a brilliant invention! :D

  • @SillyConeBaby Yep!!

  • udate us on your bottles now that ur son is born ! let us knwo what worked pros and cons thank ya girl love all your videos

  • @jesscuh87 I know, I meant to film that this morning and then got sidetracked. I will, I promise.

  • i LUV these bottles, my baby girl loves it too =)

  • @ar8107 Thanks so much for your comment! My son adores them too!!

  • I had alot of problems with my son he wouldn't take a bottle... And someone gave me a tommee tippee bottle one day and it was the only one that worked from day one... He doesn't get frustrated cause he can actually get stuff out of it... So using them makes things more enjoyable for both of us. And using them feeding isn't a chore anymore.... I swear by them... I haven't had any problems with nipples collapsing

  • Just wondering if these are as good as they seem? I've seen people say that they leak terribly and the nipple collapses on other places. Did you use these the entire time or did you eventually switch to something else?

  • @jdbcmcbride I like them. I think they flow better than lots of others I have tried. I have not had one leak yet, I have experienced nipple collapse however. It seems like it happens more frequently with the regular line bottle than with the sensitive tummy bottle. While it is a little annoying, it does not keep my son from loving these bottles. He really does prefer them to other ones that I have used. I am only 2 months in though as he is 2 months old, and I breastfeed and bottlefeed.

  • I just ordered these- thanks for showing us!! Can't wait for updated review :)

  • Just bought the starter set. Haven't used them yet but they seem light weight and the nipple really feels soft and more human like! Wasn't sure if I should get regular set or the sensitive tummy set. My baby is not here yet and I'm not really sure what's the best way to go. Any ideas?

  • @db0281 They are very lightweight. It's all a matter of what you like. I like the way they feel in my hand when I use them, and my son prefers the nipple to other ones. I have both sets and they are both great. Sensitive is good but there are extra parts to worry about, I would go with those though since your baby is not born yet and he could have tummy problems. Or maybe get several of each. I breastfeed and bottle feed so I've got four of each kind.

  • Do they leak?

  • @makeupfeen916 If the top is put on the right way and screwed on tightly - No. They have leaked on me before, but it was b/c the top was not screwed on properly. ( My error)

  • I just noticed my comment didnt go through fully. What I said at the end was that in my experience and other moms I spoke to nipple confusion was never a problem when using other bottles. I do have to admit I never had a problem with colic. Maybe it was the bottles or I just didn't have that kind of baby. I use another product and I'm happier when I feed my baby. No more in necessary removing of the bottle, just straight feeding. Hope this helped!

  • @lisandra74 What other bottles do you use???

  • This was a very thorough review. Well done! But I have to admit I didn't like these bottles at all! First, the nipples do collapse. It's very frustrating especially when your hold is hungry and you're constantly fixing the nipple. Secondly, the "dent" prevents all the milk from going into the nipple. So when your baby is almost done, you have to take the bottle out shake the remaining milk into the nipple and place the bottle back into the mouth. Or, lay your baby flat (which I don't recommend)

  • @lisandra74 Ur right! I plan on updating this review now that I have used the bottles. I stand by this initial review, but I have found that the nipple collapses. My son loves these though, and the nipple gives initially like a real nipple. The dent does hold some of the milk.

  • @TheStyleChronicles The nipple collapsed with my baby as well but according to Tommee Tippee's website, this means you should move up to the next level. My gripe is that the next level (2, in my case) was so fast that my baby was choking. Maybe it just takes some getting used to. I do not want to have to go back to Dr. Brown's and clean all of those pieces.

  • @annabwashere My sons does not like the dr. brown nipple at all. He likes the Tommee ones, even when they collapse. I thought about moving to a stage 2, but wondered if it would be too fast. I might try the Avent bottles and see if he likes those. I love these Tommee's those.

  • @TheStyleChronicles Just a quick update: my 5 month old is now used to the new flow of the level 2 nipple. I've had to change positions quite a bit so that now the baby is more upright and I've got the bottled tilted to him just a little bit. I kept the Dr. Brown's bottle at a 45 degree angle or more but with the Tommee Tippees, I keep it mostly horizontal. This way, there's always milk in the nipple but it's not dripping rapidly out of the hole. No more nipple collapse, no more choking.

  • Hi. I need some help if you don't mind. I went into the store intending to buy Dr Brown's wide neck bottles (I'm due in June). My reason for picking those was to reduce gass and colic (I heard they were the best). The woman at the store recommended these. Do they really work to reduce gas and colic? If you had to pick between Dr Brown's and these, which one is better? (Just an FYI: I plan to breastfeed and dont want nipple confusion). Thanks in advance!!

  • @CompleteBlessings I really enjoyed using the Dr. Brown's system, and never had any issues with gas or colic. I am not sure if the Tommee Tippee ones work as well or better than the Dr. Browns. I have purchased both for my son. I went with the notion that they are very similar. I have only heard excellent things regarding how they work though. For nipple confusion I would have to say that the Tommee Tippee nipple is shaped and resembles the natural breast more than Dr. Brown's nipple.

  • @TheStyleChronicles I will make sure and do a comparison vid and a update one once my son feeds from the Tommee Tippee.

  • @TheStyleChronicles Opps...didn't see this. That would be great! Please let us know how it works. :-)

  • @TheStyleChronicles Thanks for your input! I was searching for reviews and came across this video and some others on the Tommee Tippee bottles. Some folks say the nipple collapes and the bottles leak (most ppl didn't seem to have these complaints though). I guess I'll just have to pick one and see if it works. If not, I'll try the other. Thanks again and congrats!

  • i looooove tommee tippee i used it on my little girl and gona use it on my baby who's due in 10 weeks

  • @makeupbygloria due in 10 weeks - Congratulations! i really like the bottles. Those and the Dr. Brown's ones too!

  • @TheStyleChronicles Yeah the new tommee tippee Closer To Nature Anti-Colic Plus Bottles are like the dr browns ones, the silicone nipple part are really soft unlike other brands

  • @makeupbygloria I have two of the anti-colic ones. The nipples are a lot softer!

  • I used those bottles for my baby & i LOVE them! :) I have no complains about it! Totally reccomend it...

  • @brigittemoncada Thank you!

  • WOW! I have to admit when I saw the title to the vid I was like how long can it take to talk about a BOTTLE?!!:) Those are incredible! When I was having my babies ummm, my son turns 21 in two days actually. Not so much ancient but bottle and technology were not in suit! I remember using the brushes, they always had sorta pointed metal tip which scratched the heck out of the bottoms which gave the ick a place to hide...I could go on forever about how great they are but you already know!
