  • Aha! I have unmasked the mysterious Thunderwoman! The name Thunderwoman kept popping up on some of my lists of contacts, but I couldn't figure out who it was! Hey, you!! -Sandy H.

  • Hee hee. Our love of adorable animals brings us together on YouTube as well. :)

  • Oh, this is so adorable!! See, now, these different species of animals can learn to co-exist-why can't we humans? (sigh) Thanks for posting this. Offhandedly, would you mind telling where the shelter is located? I've never heard of one that shelters rabbits and cats together! -Sandy H.

  • We are in Santa Cruz County, CA. The shelter's website is www.scanimalservices.us. We have two shelters. Our Watsonville Shelter has excellent indoor housing options for our adoptable rabbits. Our cats and rabbits frequently share play time. They have similar body language and communicate well with each other. On almost every occasion, the rabbits are in charge of the cats. We seem to always have at least one rabbit that prefers the company of cats over their own kind.

  • Thanks for replying. Well, you are definitely a little ways from me-I'm out in Evanston, IL. The rabbits in charge of the cats, huh? I used to have two cats and a rabbit, and, while the rabbit wasn't exactly in charge he definitely held his own with the cats! Well, that's great that you work at an animal shelter. I do, too, and it's really some of the most rewarding work I've done in my life. Good luck with your bunnies and kitties-May they all find good and loving homes. : )

  • So sad.

  • That is so sweet!

  • Cute rabbit!

I hope they get a home together.
