  • wats the name of that song

  • '

    no no thank,,,

    i dont like this car

  • Here comes the Hot stepper by Ini Kamoze

  • whats the name of that song. can anybody tell me

  • My dad came to my house and when he turned on the tv it was taking a minute and it was still black and this commercial was on and it went "nah nananah nah nanaa" and he said "what the fuck what that?!"

  • The "director" has just directed an animatic and written a comic book. Look up THE UNTAMED COMIC. Huge fan.

  • you guys all needed to see the full version of the commercial. there's a lot more emphasis on "prepping" the car, dusting it delicately with make-up brushes, the snobby director calling for many, many takes because he needs that "perfect" shot. very tongue-in-cheek, and when the car's name is advertised at the end, the voice-over says, "cheeky buick..."

you also get about a full minute of that bumpin' song.

it really is hilarious. anyone know where to find it?

  • WORST COMMERCIAL EVAR

still love the Lacrosse to death though.

  • That commercial won't get me into a Buick dealership, let alone buy one of their cars.

    Weak.

  • what happen to the Buick's they use to have plush and the interior looked real rich looking the new cars just look like a plastic toy car at least the old cars had style and better Egines

  • @coololds85 Id say the new interior is far better than any interior decades ago. And i wouldn't even compare these new engines to anything, far more efficient and powerful.

  • PS For those of you who are American - keep buying foreign, and wait and see what happens! Pretty soon you'll have to live in one of the foreign countries you're buying from.

  • So, in a FREE MARKET society we should buy the poorly engineered American car just for nationalistic reason? In eastern europe they have a saying "I'm too poor to buy cheap." If you spend a few minutes thinking about that one you'll know why I'm not going to buy shitty american made cars.

  • iyotiduot - You are an uneducated idiot. If a manufacturer ever tried to make cars in the Philippines (your country), their products would fall apart completely while you're driving the car off the "lot"... To those of you who didn't like the commercial, I guess you didn't get it. I'm in the young demographic that this campaign is targeting, and I like it. It's more clever than one of those idiotic Mazda ads that just show a car driving around curves. I applaud Buick, GM, and Leo Burnett & Co.

  • HA! Sebastian you're the hottest snooty director ever!

  • Here we have an ad company that is told to make Buick into a luxury car. The name Buick alone sounds crass and classless. In the ad we are presented with a car that has GIGANTIC curves, devoid of nuance. Side panels that are practically flat except for giant aerodynamic lines that look more like steel mud flaps glued to the lower portion of the car. The car and SUV both are looking as obese as a Mississippian. I expect the car to sweat profusely, and weeze after having driven 20 feet.

  • iyotiduot: I have driven most every automobile in the world & have owned Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru and Mazda ALSO Mercedes, BMW & Fiat......I now own a 2008 Buick and a 2008 Chevy Impala SS....Japanese, German, Italian DON;T COME CLOSE to either! (of course THIS is the voice of EXPERIENCE so I'm sure it is likely valuless to America hating idiologs with only a hair up their ass......such as yourself!?)

  • Worst...car commercial...EVER. What's with that song? And the concept is about what, the director or the car? What's worse is that Leo Burnett employees posting here saying it's "funny."

    How sad.

  • Heh... Whatever I kind of like it. Maybe it's because I don't hate the song. Besides what's your standard for a car commercial anyway? 99% of them are boring as hell. And the funniest ones aren't actually aired (censorship).

    This one is okay.

  • The concept is that the cars became sexy and no longer oldish/or redneck. Though it fails as all American cars are fugly and inferior.

  • Youve heard the phrase: "Opinions are like Assholes"......YOUR uneducated comments bring to mind another: "like assholes....eveyone has an opinion however it is generally the asshole who will express his opinion without a shred of fact involved!....Compare standard features, technology, durability, ride. warranty and fuel economy and you may well have an opinion wothe listening to when you get back!

  • It is a fact that Americans cars are inferior and fugly. You're deluding yourself if you think you can ever match the engineering prowess of the Germans or the innovations of the Japanese.

Good luck. America is dead because the people are dumbasses. LOL

  • OBVIOUSLY: You are not well studied on this subject! If you have the income and nothing better to do with your money then by all means buy a high maintenance German car. Likewise, in the event lower acquisition cost with superior fuel economy, overall operational expense reduction PLUS the good it does for OUR economy are not issues......BUY YOURSELF A TOYOTA, HONDA or NISSAN but you really should educate yourself on the "COST TO TERM" issues first!?

  • Not to mention Toyota, Honda, and NIssan automobiles are actually made in the US, unlike most "American" cars that are made in Mexico.

  • iyotidnot: While I can not deny that something in the range of 50% of Americans are indeed "dumbasses", I submit that YOU are unwilling to acknowledge 100% of Europe are Arrogant, self indulging egotists......QUAKIFYING YOU to be their leader!?

  • Great job!

    5 stars from TheJapanChannel !

Check out our channel too, if you have time!

  • LOL@!!! tip-top performance. vedy good!

  • This was about the only commercial that aired during the play offs that I looked forward to seeing again! now the hot director just needs to come on over with that Buick! <3

  • This commercial is the funniest. This guys playing the director is on some other s#!T. He reminds me of those old Italian movies that I used to love when i was a kid. His face is classic.

  • That was a great and funny commerical..That guy is bloody fantastic

  • this is a funny commercial

  • this commercial is funny... the end line is clever. the director makes being a dick - good. :p if the car can hold up to the marketing - they've got character.

  • this commercial is funny... the end line is clever. if the car can hold up to the marketing - we've got character. :p the director makes being a dick - good.

  • I think this is the raddest car commercial EVER! Creative, funn as hell and the main "director" dude is the business!!!!! Actually, he's hot as hell! He's the "HOT STEPPER"!!!!!!!! Buick has changed, and I love it!!!! (not as much as I like the english dude tho! hot hot hot!!!!!......So thank ou Buick and thank ou hot director dude for actually makin me wanna watch a commercial!!!!

  • wow! Buick, is that you?

  • stupid ppl read the damn description for every video and usually most videos have the song name in the description or credits at the end

  • This commercial is effin great!!! What a lot of fun, and the car looks better than it has in years. The main dude is hilarious.

  • Also, Buick's new campaign tagline "Look at me now" is terrible!!

  • Ahhh YEA! Now this is mya new fav car commercial. Simply because i love to make fun of people that really do have zat whole snobby/stuck-up, very fashionable, thinks that they're all zat, life style. Tho i really love it because the music (remixed) for this vid has the main beat from Taana Gardner's, "Heartbeat" single. Tho this song from Ini Kamoze iz pretty FuNKy aswell.

  • songs name!

    Here Comes the Hot Stepper

    By- Ini Kamoze

  • thank u ....... ive been searchin for this song for like 5 years

  • does anyone know the name of the song on the commercial thank you

  • The song is Here Comes The Hotstepper

  • Can someone explain to me the idea behind this commerical and why it takes it behind the perspective of the film crew?

  • I thought it was pretty obvious but IMO the idea for this commercial was to show the new generation of Buick and the style changes they made. I don't think it really show you the perspective of the crew you are kind of third person but the cars being displayed are suppose to symbolize 'Actors' or 'models' who have "Had work done" as the narrator says. Its creative concept and has a respectively low amount of propaganda and very simple psychology in it.

  • After writing that and watching it again, I would have to say that the film crew is suppose to be the consumer and they use some key words at the end that are suppose to sway the opinion of the audience by making it the consumers (film crew) point of view that "You've changed and I love it" the key word being i. I don't know just my opinion.

  • Beautiful cars, but I love how the Lucerne isn't even in here haha.

  • can anyone tell me wat the name of this song

  • hey did u find da songs name?

  • i been lookin 4 this 4 awhile... thanks :)

  • Does anyone know who's the original singer for the song?? I think Ini Kamoze redo the song......

  • if you're talking about the na-nananana- at the beginning then that's either "Land of a Thousand Dances" by Chris Kenner or "Heartbeat" by Taana Gardner
