  • The Bavoomians cloaked the planet in Meteos Wars.

  • The DS's version of this planet looks nothing this version's...!

The DS's looks like a weird teal/turquoise spring-coil thing with purple mountain formations that run the entire length of the planet.

I like this planet, but it's really hard to get a good score on Score Attack, my best is 67,690... -3- i'm ashamed :P .-._.

  • @fuzzytetra32308 You can't perform well on this planet until you understand that the speeder slows down your ignitions' falls. After this video, I learned that and got a lot better with Bavoom.

  • @Overhazard I didn't know that! :D

That sounds neato, but what about when you get like 2-3 minutes in and meteos come down UBER REDICULONKLY FAST and fill up your board in like 7 miliseconds. That's normally what gets me, I can't bulid up a high enough score before that point and my board gets filled up and they come down too fast for me to get rid of them. :/

  • @fuzzytetra32308 Even if your field gets filled up, you still have some time to make some ignitions. Bavoom is kind of difficult to use if you have that Stock system though, because you have to keep playing for a while to win. In Meteos Wars, you justhave to finish off the opponent once. Here, you just need to win before Bavoom gets too much to handle.

  • I'm extremely disappointed with the lost potential with Meteos. The original DS version was amazing and the Disney version was great from a technical standpoint. This one was great but severely disappointing with the online and lack of support and features compared to the DS versions. There had better be a proper sequel on the 3DS. A 3DS title could be amazing with wi-fi, crazy 3D effects with pop outs, lots of unlocks akin to the original DS title, and of course funky fresh music.

  • @Ibond00seven The 3DS would be an interesting place to put Meteos in, but I was thinking it would more likely show up on the Wii, if at all.

Q? Entertainment doesn't seem too interested in Meteos anymore, so I doubt we'll see anything in the near future.

  • Meteos is one of the best games ever. Seriously.

  • Using the speeder must be fun with this planet!

2:48 - Check out that stack you send up in the middle! I see that burnt out Meteos BESIDES the junk blocks sent over turned into Meteos you can't really use. The Sentinel Planet Impact is nasty~!

So, folks really say this is an easier planet to use? Are these guys more familiar with the DS version, because the differences in control may account for that assertion.

  • I found out later that Bavoom used to be 10 columns long and was reduced to 9. So the consensus with Q? Entertainment is that it's too difficult, at the very least. I don't know how Bavoom feels in the DS version, but I have seen it and people don't seem to have much of a problem.

I like to use Sentinel after a strong garbage attack. It's really effective on planets that need long ignition chains to function, like Jeljel and Hanihula. Or to someone who fools around on Forte.

  • Wow! That was WAY too close. A few more seconds, and the game would have gone the other way around!

  • Question: What are those bars at the far edge of your playing fields for? The one on the far left for you and the far right for your opponent, to be more specific.

  • Those are the power-up meters for garbage blocks. They increase as you send Meteos off the top of your screen. After about 2 seconds, if it doesn't increase, it shoots up and rows of garbage blocks appear on your opponent's screen.

  • that was so close lol you got lucky

  • You are the best Overhazard! Love the videos. :) I'd love to see more of your new team however.. But I love these and your Sonic ones too. ;)

  • Well, what I'm really doing here is getting these and Sonic Unleashed out of the way. I'm heavily backed up with these two the most.

  • Ohh I see.. : / It must be trouble trying to fit it all in with university/colledge/school or whatever it is over in the US. :P

  • Nah, right now I'm job-hunting. Finding work is incredibly difficult right now. Unemployment in this part of the country is 12%.

  • Aaaah, it's like that everywhere.. : / Especially for younger people. Well I wish you luck with gettinga job, and hope it's a nice(ish) one. :)

  • Thanks. 12% is almost 1 in 8. So we have literally a million people going arund without work.
