Fate/Stay Night was originally an eroge visual novel made for the PC released in 2004. The anime was released afterward and probably isn't as good as the visual novel.
the visual novel is definetely better. the fact that they choose to animate the fate route instead of ubw or hv really pissed me off. that's the lamest route.
lol indeed. i don't understand why most people prefer fate route which tells the story of a female king arthur(really disturbing) rather than ubw which tells the story of the main character and in which shirou is actively participating in the war instead of just cheering saber on.
If a king became immortal by having a sword, given by a lady of a lake, fought against his clone, created by another lady of the lake, and is now resting in a mystical island of apples, to rule England again, making him a cute immortal girl doesn't sound that disturbing.
Both most commonly approved versions of Historical figure Arthur (Arturus) are not during the era of knights.
@Shikamaru1438 but its extremely long winded...extremely boring to most people and contains hentai scenes lol. therefore most kids wont play it and most other people wont sit there reading the boring stuff. but its good nonetheless
@snowblazer12 yes but the anime pritty much covers everything even a few parts of the other scenarios so you dont really need to watch it. you should figure out most of the secret lil stuff by yourself it snot hard.
@snowblazer12 yeah it tookme awhile to read around and figure it all out. you basically watch the anime. and then you can go watch unlimited blade works which is the new movie coming out and youll pritty much be up with the story.
No, that's the excalibur move used to finish off Gilgamesh. Avalon is the sheath of the Excalibur which protected Saber against Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish which could "split the world in two".
what game consol is this 4?

It's called a Japanese accent!!!
DarkAdonisVyers 3 years ago
Its "eh-ku-su-ka-li-ba". The way to voice actor pronounces Excalibur is actually really good for her being Japanese.

The Anime lacks 2 routes of the Visual Novel. Little bits of them appear in the Anime, but not enough to support the Story of the other Routes.

there is a book?
snowblazer12 2 years ago
No, a visual novel, which is kinda like a book, but it contains graphics, some animation and music. It's played on a computer or game console.

The PSP would break if it tried to even comprehend a single stroke of movement coming from a character in this game >.>

I wish they'd release it on the PSP... -_-"
I really love the look of it, so much combos you can do with flashy special attacks...
Reminds me of a 3D version of Melty Blood.

The first attack isn't Excalibur. It's the Avalon endgame attack.
