You can use a hot glue gun, but I find that it's just as easy and a lot less expensive to use regular white glue. And as an art teacher, I don't have enough hot glue for all of my students to use. One thing with the hot glue, you get those "spider web" threads.
now i've seen your cardboard tips as well as your paper (1& 2) and they are really great- I learnt so much from this and really appreciate the clarity of your speech and the precision of your actions. Have had a lot of fun making my own versions and will pass this on, regards G
