  • Really good song!

  • Great song

  • ni dyar izuba rizagaruka hejuru yadju nd uzaricyeza ricyeza = means "when will the sun rise again? Who will reveal it to us?"

  • no one seems to realize, similar things are going on right now in syria! lets not wait another 10 years to realize we should have done somethig to stop it...

  • how can people think africa is one big country its a continent ffs , Anyways respect for this song

  • Thanks to people like Lt. General Romeo Dallaire commander of the peacekeeping forces in Rwanda thousands were saved. I believe heroes do exists.

  • Every time I listen to this, it brings a smile to my face and a small tear to my eye.

  • どうしてアフリカはUnited States of アフリカになれないの?の歌詞に泣きました。

  • Love it

  • I absolutely love this movie. When I watched it I never expected it to be as good as it is. I love the music too. <3 goes out to Rwanda! <3

  • Nice song! :) Fitted for Rwanda's current situation.

  • HOW DO I GET IT WITHOUT WYCLEF JUST THE CHOURS

  • @AboveAll9 Try searching, million voices instrumental with hook? or something, hope this helps

  • @MrShawProductions Thanks

  • England isn't UK...it is part of Uk..ok

  • @carmelokm Who cares what u think about that? Just enjoy that beautiful song! Moron...

  • @KingTesfay why retaliate if you didn't care in the first place?besides,I find it extraordinary when fools call me a moron, but I'll leave it there 4 now:)

  • @carmelokm As i said, stfu and enjoy the music.

  • @KingTesfay hmm,sad fucker:)

  • Outros quando brincam com comida e deitando comida , cujo ha pessoas no mundo que nem tem nada p'ra comer veja africa veja este povo,

  • I am a rwandan rapper dreaming one day to make my country worldwide known.Seeing an international artist singing while the U.N dont even give a fuck about the Genocide victims on the land I was born on it's so moving. From this you notice that music is love not the same issue with Politics. In 1994 no one came to help and now no one even think of my motherland.Knowing that there were more than 1 million victims of Genocide, think what those who we call "Peacemakers" or "Blue caps" are there for.

  • talking about jesus is actually a joke because the europeon imperialist's deemed Africans to be "savages" and needed to civilize them with christianity...while raping the land, then left them politically and economically unstable with no sense of unity (ethnic divison) and natural resources (including agricultural)

  • I've been changed, truley.

We had to watch Hotel Rwanda in History, I sat and watched didn't miss a minute of it. Than I went home and watched Shake hands with the devil and I couldn't stop crying after doing so.

My heart goes out to those who were affected in the genocide, and the UN soldiers who volunteered to stay behind after the rest of the world forgot about them, and the suffering Rwandans.

  • @SecronGlitch the best comment ever

  • @SecronGlitch I say the same :(

  • @SecronGlitch Un-understandable tragedy

  • more music should have a point and good cause behind it like this song. instead of singing about ignorant paparazzi, divas, shawtys, money, or any other of that sexual, drug crap!

  • Clickety clack of the tongue

  • Great song

  • i pray for the lost souls in the genocide

god bless the survivers and the children who survived and are troumatised

  • Amazing!

  • I was wondering, what language are the children singing in?

  • @Seanz1lla : It is in KinyaRwanda the meaning is " The sun will shines again!!! and we will see it"

  • @nduwa01 Thank you much.

  • :(

  • Glad your okay. =)

  • love this song <3

  • Quit whining about this shit and do something! Me included!

  • It's so sad to hear those children's voices singing with such hope :(

  • Stop the genocide in Libya, it's happening right in front of our eyes!!! Where is the UN? Where is the US? Only the people for themselves!!!

  • @slengineer91 That's what happens each time and we keep believing in those leaders.Re-electing Obama won't change shit.I Pray for all those Living that suffer but I prosper a message that soon the sun will rise and we gonna see it.The Bible said of the last days,And that is what happens in last days.Keep faith in God.PEACE.

  • I Try To Express Myself In My Music, But Everytime I Hear This Song, I Know I'm Not Even Close To Having Real Feelings In Music...

    Amazing Song!

  • @AKDeLuxE06 I got to meet the real Paul Rusesabagina (Don Cheadle's character) for a speech he did at my school last fall. Brilliant speech. It was amazing to say the least.

  • I cry every time! Dont forget Rwanda!

  • africa will retrieve all the suffering, despair, suffering, hunger, children are dying and not only! Africa has a debt of 224 billion euros for all countries who demanded money, those selfish countries who think only about themselves. even a beggar on the streets of New York or England live better than a person in africa! stop being selfish we must think in these people who have nothing to eat, one single grain of rice!

  • this song makes me cry so much :'( of course africa can be united states of Africa. it can be only a dream, but when i grow up and start working i'll gather all my money and send it to africa, the continent from which I descended, despite not having been born there, but my parents were born, and that makes me a proud AFRICAN!

  • Who could be so heartless to dislike this video & song?

  • General Dallaire, Rawandan HERO.

  • when will man change?...there is no hope for us...

  • reminds me of the movie hotel Rwanda, wich we watched in geography class.. while the others were talking I watched the movie and cried inside =(

  • @jolixx93 - This song is from that movie, mate. And thumbs up to you, you are smarter than the other kids =)

  • @dizzyb111 I know it's from that movie (; that's the reason I watched this vid.. and thanks (=

  • @dizzyb111 how does that make them smarter than the other kids

  • @kenidrak Cause he actually paid attention.

  • p.s.if you watch the movie..the guy says,'people will watch this on the news.. & say 'gosh thats horrible' then go on eating there dinner. :l everyone says what they did to the Rwandans is horrible why doesn't someone do something about it! :[

  • ohmygoshh.. :[

this song is so sad & it's on the movie 'Hotel Rwanda'

trust me, if you were to see that movie.. you would know exactly what this songs about. :( we were watching it my class 2 days ago..God bless everyone, dosankomomohime is right, where is peace!? D: it's always about hatred,fighting,racistism.. there's never peace. billions of people were killed in Rwanda just because of hatred! :[ this world is so messed up.. the kids that sing in this song makes me cry! :,,(

  • so sweet yet sad!

  • @TheCentralQueen she might of been referring to south africa, the most messed up country of them all stupid

  • @bailsfullofhay Africa is the continent. South Africa is not a part of it but its a country called "South Africa" and its capital city is Johannesburg. Learn geography brah. The poor or corrupted countries are in West Africa (Sierraleone,Ghana) and East Africa (Rowanda, Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia). But in general, most of Africa is poor.

  • @MohamadEzz .....Look at an illiterate educating another. how can u say south africa is not part of Africa? And ghana is corrupt and poor? You must be leaving in a pit dump hole

  • @dkkee You stupid idiot. I did not say tht it's not a part of Africa u dumb ass! I meant that its not only a part of it. But its a fuckin country and not a region. and yes the people in ghana are really poor. i fuckin lived there u bitch! pit dump hole is where ur ma came from brah! now go fuck urself with a leaf u ignorant piece of shit

  • @MohamadEzz you are a jerk who does not know how to make use of language why would u post such a comment about this beautiful song

  • @MohamadEzz lol

  • @dkkee someone needs to educate him.thanks for helping him out,he needs help

  • @MohamadEzz you need to learn your geography you need a special teacher i could help you if you want

  • i have my broken hearth...... this song it´s very special (rwanda 1994)

  • fuck the 3 people who disliked this

  • Comment removed

  • @lillypill Africa is not a country, its a continent. Rwanda is located in the continent of Africa...no disrespect but you are on a great level of ignorance if you truly believe that Africa is a country...btw Africa is united in many different aspects but the majority of African governments are corrupted and cause hell for its people.

  • Kiiiiiinggdeeeeeeemmmmsss

  • I don't understand the United States of America and United Kingdom comparison. America refers to the 2 continents not just to the USA. The United Kingdom refers to not just England, but Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland as well.

  • @strongman325 i never knew that honestly; thankyou for enlightening me

  • We have had rwandan refugees in my country for years but its only when i saw the film i knew what actually happen. That film broke my heart.

  • God have mercy on africa, just pray that someday we'll embrace total peace here in africa. this song reminds of tears i left few years ago and also the little children that died in the cause of the rwanda war.

  • @cruxifikx you mean genocide

  • amazing...u should watch the movie to that song: hotel rwanda

  • I hate the lyrics! Fuck, they're so cliché, they spoil the beautiful image created by the kids singing. I hate how fake lyrics ruin the whole thing..I wonder if there is an instrumental version..

  • only seeing the trailer of Hotel Rwanda makes me cry.

    who started this all?!

  • @HollandxCupCake the belgians, wen they left rwanda they placed the tutsis in charge, the hutus (who made up the majority of rwanda) got angry with the tutsis being the superiority and tryed 2 get rid of all tutsis. the catalyst was when the presidents plain was shot down after agreeing to peace with the tutsi rebels. the hutus blamed it on the tutsis and the massacre began

  • @Stuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii oh, that's so sad. ):

i hate it when people try to hurt others.

  • i love this song, and i liked the movie shooting dogs verry much. i really learned from it. about the history. so watch shooting dogs people!

  • why the hell would 3 people dislike this ?

  • peace and love from NYC

  • This song touched my heart.

  • This movie had me all goosebumps. VEry good movie!

  • @MohamadEzz God bless you. We are all one under God.

  • @MohamadEzz

This song sounds cheery but it's about genocide...and I wish more muslims loved everybody...

  • @jbyrd5th trust me, what you see on TV doesnt show the true image of muslims. We really aren't what people think we are. Al Qaeda and all that? are you kidding? we hate them. They even attack us. If we drink pepsi, they fuckin kill us cuz its an american brand. Saddam Hussein? EVERYONE in the middle east thanks the states for killing that criminal motherfucker. Try to be open and think that bad people come from all religions, all countries, and all cultures... Peace.

  • heart touchin song....

  • Ni dyar'izuba, Rizagaruga, Hejuru yadju, Nduzaricyeza ricyeza.

  • all my body hair stands straight when listening to this

  • omg i love this song its true what he sings why cant africa be a state

  • @stefanie2111

No it's why cant africa be a country...

It Just woulden't work.. It's like asking all of Europe to become one big country... People are too full of pride when it comes to heritage

  • @B3arWalkin EU?

  • Beautiful song <3

  • could someone send me this song ?

  • beautiful song<3

  • I was watching this movie in class, and all the people in my class were crying, including me. I was angry and sad, and ashamed.

  • Niryari Izuba rizagaruka hejuru yacu ,ninde uzaricyeza! I am Rwandan, and That is Kinyarwanda not Swahili! and I am very proud of being Rwandan! this song make tears drop from my eyes! that was our sad story and we want to move forward!

  • Blessed!!! Why does everyone speak swahili in Africa? We have thousands of languages. Whenever I tell folks in the US or Canada Nigeria is my home they ask if I speak Swahili.

  • it's because the kenyans are more popular among us africans, i just tell them more about us nigerians.

  • my heart goes out to the families you suffered the atrocities of the genocide of rwanda. i pray that one day africa will live in peace

  • rwanda rwanda

  • God bless Rwanda !!

  • This is so sad we don't do anything about this stuff all over the world. It makes me sick people

do this but they sick so The bad ones need help

  • My English teacher showed us this song as part of our poetry unit.

  • which languange is that sung by kids

  • @Utawala Swahili? Maybe, Im not sure

  • no they are speaking kinyarwanda, the language that is spoken in rwanda. my mother is rwandese so i know..

  • right thats swahili the language we use in Kenyan am a Kenyan straight up Kikuyu. lern kiswahili Rwanda belongs to East Africa we r now working with wanyarwanda mwisi murahu

  • @Utawala thats Kinyarwanda the language spoken in Rwanda

  • Any 1 whos been a victim of an atrocity i know some ppl may not care but i always will.

  • what a powerful song :/

it's sad what the world has come to, it really is.

but i believe, one day it will be back to the place we knew before the bloodspill.

    one day.

  • Such an emotional song much love to Wyclef the realest musician out there and all those in Rwanda my heart goes out to you

  • right on ddlive... √

  • Ni dyar'izuba, Rizagaruga, Hejuru yadju, Nduzaricyeza ricyeza.

i cannot believe tht the US and the UN were so selfish and worried bout themselves tht they didnt help...i mean i kno africas got alot of wars because of rival tribes and we cant go in and help every single one tht goes on but the UN was already there!! all they had to do was get an order tht said they could shoot and this would have been over alot faster...

  • This song really does stir something in me. Especially the part where the children sing in the African language.

But I like this song. It's revolutionary :)

  • But you know you should not admit it, you should know. and if you know what happend you will realise that there are not tears enough for all the victims. and by crying for these people. maybe just maybe we can work towards a better goal and also knowing this happend and to have these tears then maybe this will never happen again. and so we keep crying, but not in a way that we are weak but in a way that we are strong and will become stronger now we know what has happened.

  • crying over it wont change the fact it happened or that something similar will no doubt happen again all you gotta do is make sure you help out next time, tears wont change what happened, nothing will

  • "thrown in the fire but they never get burned."

  • oh man! this song breaks my heart!

  • This song breaks my heart.

  • @welldoneasshole stronggggglllllllyyyyyyyy agreeeeeee

  • i am of white and japanese heritage and live in japan now, but when i listen to this song i am crying because i pray always that people stop hurting eachother. it is not right.

    where the fuck is peace?

  • Yeah, you're right, Where is the love?

and where is the Promise of God?

Its just the cause of the Conference Of Berlin in 1885.

  • peace is no where to be found.

    Its lost forever,

  • If there's one man that can bring world peace, it's Wyclef Jean.

  • @dosankomomohime The truth is nowadays you cant just get peace for good reasons, you have to buy your own peace with the billions of american dollars

  • i love the song so much, LOVE ALL MY AFRICAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!! AT THE END OF IT ALL...WE RE ONE!!!!
