Besides, normally American movies/games blame "the other guy", when it's usually the US that starts things. Take WW2 for example, we let Nazi Germany take many countries, let them arm, and in the late 1800's, we were sooo eager to let Japan buy our guns, they went and built a world-power army.... America's got bad memory loss.

What they did wasn't exactly stupid. The Infantry tactics they were using were pretty standard having one guy advance while the other cover but they were at distinct disadvantage because Demo Dick took out the lights with a silenced mp5 which also masked where his rounds were coming from not to mention the Russians didn't have night vision to see him. The AK47s are loud and gave our American 'hero' a good idea how many bad guys he was dealing with and where they were.

What they did wasn't exactly stupid. The Infantry tactics they were using were pretty standard having one guy advance while the other cover but they were at distinct disadvantage because Demo Dick took out the lights with a silenced mp5 which also masked where his rounds were coming from not to mention the Russians didn't have night vision to see him. The AK47s are loud and gave our American 'hero' a good idea how many bad guys he was dealing with and where they were.

Why are some games being called out for racism as opposed to others? Far Cry 2 is like black person genocide, yet people are ok with that. Then we have Resident Evil 5, and everyone goes "You're killing black people because you're in Africa racist racist racist".

At the hight of the cold war during the 1980's yes the Russians (then Soviets) were bloody scary. They were to be rightly respected for the destruction they were capable of and feared at out quick they were ready to dish it out. Anyone who grew up during that era would know what I am talking about it.
These days they are nothing but a shadow of their former selves.
In any case I think the trailer was good and it promises to be an awesome game and Dick Marcinko is the ultimate bad ass.
