Chris was a wrestler who allowed chair shots hitting his head, his finisher move was jumping 10 foot off a turnbuckle and landing on his head! His brian was physically damaged, and mentally damaged. He lost his best friend in 2005 and then less than a year later he lost another friend of his.

I've stated rather harsh statements about Benoit...just b/c I was pissed that his son and his wife were murdered. Giving the facts of everything, I take back some of the things I've said about Benoit and simply say that he was a great wrestler and maybe even a great person....whatever happened to him I hope happens to noone else...but I did lose some respect for Benoit....but I've realized making harsh comments about him isnt helping anything either. I am probably the biggest Chris Benoit fan alive, and my strong opinion on this unbearable loss is that Chris Benoit did kill himself. Chris was a wrestler who allowed chair shots hitting his head, his finisher move was jumping 10 foot off a turnbuckle and landing on his head! His brian was physically damaged, and mentally damaged. He lost his best friend in 2005 and then less than a year later he lost another friend of his.
The mental and physical stress he was enduring was too much for him.
