@DIGItalColourMedia I ask that question every time I see something from the Amazon. Don't they realize this forest is also great for the humans (even ones thousands of miles away)? It supplies much of the earth's oxygen and there have been many flora and fauna discovered there with medicinal qualities.

I think it is sad, every time I hear about the recent soaring in deforestation in Brazilian Amazon. I heard about the Brazilian government seizing cattle on illegaly deforested land, but I don't know if it will really help.

Do you also know how the majority of the Brazilians think about the Amazon?

BEWARE! The plan of making the Amazon (the "lung" of the planet) a new world heritage is just a plan from U.S. to get petroleum from there.There is another "lung" in north of U.S. and Canada, the big boreal forests, but they do not want to make it a world heritage place because is not convenient for them. Do not make this ecological problem happen! do not accept this!
