Deffinately NOT the best groomers in the world. Just the best entertaining ones. This show is as fake as Flavor of Love but I still like it. I did learn some things; like I never knew chow chows were that difficult to work with.
jessica did NOT deserve to lose... i know her dog was barely groomed but i perfer having a dog barely groomed but groomed correctly then having a dog groomed but groomed horribly jorge should have gone home...and jessiica should have continued..........................
hahaha you guys are so funny....you must have no lives! dont stress it will be entertaining, and the show never claimed to have the best groomers in the world, since your so bored maybe you should check out some of the written ads for the show, and they say that they put together all different kinds of groomers. Its not a traditional grooming competion, everybody on the show had different strong and weak points thats whats gonna make it so interesting. I should know, I was there.

But I have seen some of the best groomers in the world. stop at intergroom some time and see what real groomers are like and what they do.
Just because someone can't travel to all the trade shows and compete in the competitions doesn't mean they suck at grooming. Trophies aren't everything...some people may just not have the money to travel but have a true talent. I am not a groomer nor do I know any of the contestants. I work at a pet grooming business. In the case of this show, I have heard rumors and gossip (started by the people who didn't get picked) that the contestants were mostly chosen based on personality and looks...
I've been a groomer for 22 years and I know there are great groomers who don't compete. some of them are dear friends of mine. But the explanation of this video claims that these groomer are "the best groomers in the world". I heard the same thing about how they picked these people. I just hope they do the grooming business justice and don't make groomers look like a bunch of unstable drama queens.
I have a bad feeling they will...it's reality and that's what people watch...I know one of the folks who was a runner up and she was told she wasn't "interesting" enough. So that's more than likely gonna be the case...
