Hello Phantom zero I am Marrs an unregistered RLSH. I AM 15 years old and I do actual vigilante work i have stopped many people from being mugged. But doesnt always go well. I have been stabbed, shot, had both my arms broken, and a dislocated shoulder. This hasnt stopped me and I continue to fight the ever growing crime figures so Phantom Zero thats my response to you. Keep up the good work all you RLSH out there. Marrs signing out!
@riley666staples yeah, I'm sure you know every single RLSH's itenerary. Every single movement they make and everything they do. Because if you didn't, you wouldn't be qualified to make that judgement. OHWAITYOUDONT. I guess you're *not* qualified. :)
Why don't you heroes actually do something besides put help the poor and donate to charity. Go take down a gang or something douche. You don't need a costume to give a homeless guy $5 or give a doll to toys for tots. You guys are all a bunch of nerdy fags. Go kick some bad guys ass or risk your life to stop a robbery. I'm sure you've never even hit someone in your whole life, you're just a middle-aged poser.
@riley666staples Read my above comment im 15 im quite popuar i dont read comics and im not a poser and your telling someone to single handedly take down a gang thats suicidal dude I mean I'd love to see you try and do that I really would :I
@BG2515 Well how many muggings do you think this guy has stopped? Probably none. I just think all of these RLSH's should actually do something besides charity work while they're dressed up in costumes. And if they really are doing something, they shouldn't go on YouTube and brag about it. Just keep it to yourself and actually do something besides giving sandwiches to the homeless and Chinese checkers to orphans.
the super villain is the terrorist leader OBL.... like in the comic books , the American government has tried to capture Him, with their army and special intelligence, but failed.... I guess it takes a super hero to take down a real life super villain.... haven't u heard, that the Bird is the WORD!!
whats funny is 15 minutes after i posted this there was a drive-by in my apartment, two people in the apartment literally right above us were shot. they weren't killed though, just wounded.
keep up the good work phantom, the people who call you geek and nutjob and the like have probably never helped anyone in any way. at least you do stuff, even if you dont physically fight crime!
Attention Real Life Super-Heroes!...I am Nemesis and I'm currently holding...a stolen pez dispenser! And inside of it...Weed! And I grew it in the back of my closet with...the rest of my stolen pez dispensers! STOP ME IF YOU CAN!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You want me to be honest? You "real life superheroes" are going to get shot and killed... you're stupid. Don't go around trying to stop criminals with real guns.... you're not getting paid for it... it isn't your job.
i will be a rlsh soon i will go by the name night saint i am 16 and i will change the world and i would like to get in contact with other heros so that i can maybe go on a patroll lol
How the rabble claws, and scratches, seeking to tear down and debase in some of these notes. As a Villain, one only points out that the Hero's Journey must never be easy, but in overcoming adversity, the Hero realizes his purpose. One will absolutely challenge you to be certain, but know there IS a purpose.
hahaha... arh god. A yankee in a mask. Reminds me of american history. Making blogs... how modern. Show us what you do. Any of you.. heroes, aren't heroes until you end up behind bars... Because real justice will not be obtained in this world... Stop dreaming men. Follow the flow or die... those are your options
i know that would be hilarious. i think a real superhero would be someone who wears nondescript clothing with body armor underneath. you would have to carry a silenced weapon and take out bangers on the streets at night.
hey phantom zero id like to telll you something im neonboy ima a super hero in training and my mom knows that you think i need i side kick cause i do have one

Ok, me and my buddies got some questions for you.
Question #1: How many children do you have tied up in the basement?
Statement #1: Your name is halfway there, now just drop the "phantom".
Statement #2: If you ever feel like being barraged by insults, feel free to drop me a line at anytime. I don't think it would ever stop. 1-800-HOT-COCK
Question #2: How many times a day did your dad put it in your ass?
Question #3: Do bloodstains come out of black cloth?
Listen, I've been reading up on this movement. I think its cool and all. However, I'm a little pissed. I think our cities need more than just charity helpers and youtube uploaders. I'm not bashing, I appreciate what you all do, But when are we going to see the real deal. THE superhero, the one who doesn't talk about himself, but is written about in the papers and talked about on the news, the one that gets there before the cops, and takes care of business. The one that offers hope, tangible hope
I grok your frustration, but a person who takes the law into their own hands is a vigilante--and would be a criminal in the eyes of the law. Police have a system of checks and balances set up so that, in theory, they can't act arbitrarily and without mandate of the state and the people--plus they have manpower, training, & resources a sole individual wouldn't. A vigilante who went out and imposed his will on the world could be fascist or possess some other antisocial, malignant world view.
I see where Jiryis is coming from. What makes the vigilante a hero is that they can accomplish so much with so little. They are fighting crime (sometimes better than the system would otherwise allow) and they dont have the resources and manpower... they are just one person! Also, a vigilante doesn't necessarily impose their own will, but the will of the people or the will of society. It takes a certain type of person to not get carried away - to be a vigilante and be just.
There is a distinct line between the literary vigilante, which has been glamorized over the past twenty or more years, and the literal vigilante--who works against the system of law. The system, love it or leave it, exists for a reason. People have the right to due process. Vigilantes don't offer this.
Keep in mind that the masses/society & the will of the people/popular ideals can some times be subjective, unfair, & unjust--mob mentality--and not reflect what is truly right/good/rational.
Like I mentioned earlier, I still think a vigilante can work in parallel with the law and offer justice and due process. The don't necessarily have to act as judge, jury, and executioner. They may just monitor potential criminals and intervene once they witness an offense, subdue the offender, and leave them at the mercy of the system...
By definition: if they worked within the law, they wouldn't be vigilantes.
Any citizen can monitor criminal activity & report it to the cops. Neighborhood watch & promotion of awareness in your community are all legal & rational avenues for crime prevention.
Committing aggravated assault and/or battery, criminal coercion, criminal restraint/false imprisonment, use of excessive force, obstruction of justice, reckless endangerment, trespassing, and stalking are not legal.
I agree. However, sometimes you need to act outside the confines of the law. It is not always wrong to do so. I think we would both agree that legality does not equal morality... sometimes abiding by the law is right and sometimes, although something is legal, it is still morally wrong. Working within the system can only change so much. Vigilantes can bring about more radical change. I will agree though, it is a slippery slope - Vigilantes can go too far.
I agree. However, sometimes justice can still be achieved without evoking the system. In fact, sometimes you may have to work outside the law to attain justice. Certainly you would agree that legality does not equate to morality, and vice versa. Not everything considered moral is legally required of us, likewise not everything that is legal is moral. The system can always be corrupted and used to protect guilty parties, unfortunately. In that situation only a 'vigilante' can prevail.
you could becom a registered bounty hunter that way 1 you could actully do something 2 operat within the law and 3 get to pick and choose who you want to go after and be completly indepednt of the police force
Actually, bounty hunters are constrained by more rules and regulations than police officers...
I don't do this to make money. It's not a career. Despite that, I accomplish a good deal in regards to my particular modus operandi--which isn't crime fighting per se.
The Law is criminal and must be cared as one. Not in hate or pain, but a vigilante of justice. People are blind to what they lust, but they aren't blind to justice in any form.
This seems like a nefarious plot to go after our nations costumed heroes! JK. You seem sincere. As a RLSH watcher, I'm curious to what your ultimate goal is with these challenges.
no offence but i dont class you as a rlsh if you did some batman like things then maybe i would class you as one if you do charity then thats what you are not a superhero superheros save peoples lives how many lives have you saved 0 probably
Ninjas were assassins who killed hundreds of individuals.
Pirates were murders who killed hundreds of individuals.
Mass media has taken these individuals, whose iconic images have been diluted in books, romance novels, comics, movies, television shows, video games and cartoons and done far more to dilute and divorce them from their murderous past than I ever could.
Disney has made three movies about pirates.

This is a question for u PZ and a suggestion for u to put in ur next video. uve asked the question of HOW you do wat u do. But another good question is WHY do wat u do.. Wat made u wake up one day and decide to don a costume and become a hero? Id sure love to here some of the replys to that. And urs also, pls. Anyways, keep up the good work,ur doing a fantastic service to the community. bringing all these heroes into one place and letting it be known that these ppl are out there. cheers
I'd try to answer this one for you...but my becoming a superhero wasn't really very exciting. I just kinda fell into it. I wrestled as Superhero, then acted as Superhero, then one day decided it would be a good idea to put it on & go out & help people.
Some guys have the whole "I saw a toad get hit by lightning & decided to become Firetoad!" thing going on which is exciting. I don't but that's how it happened.
I assume I can be an anti-hero too? Though more than likely I'd just be dressing up as my graphic novel counterpart, from the comic I'm working on.:D

Personally, I do it because it's a blast. I get to combine helping others with my love of comics as well as being creative.
