I watch this video frequently as this song has special meaning to me for a number of reasons, but the true emotion of the meaning of the song shines through brighter today than ever before for all Americans and especially those whose loved ones perished at the hands of a madman. Today, thanks to the brilliant efforts of President Obama, the madman is no more. While it will never bring our heroes back, his death last night will let us all "Walk on with our heads held high".

This was the song my mother loved so very much. It was played at her funeral when she died at age 47. She walked on without us but some day we will beside her.
