  • Ghetto lol

  • Great work :)

  • KURWA!! Nicely done.

  • 100% solubility and 100% ugly in your tank

  • How you do that? please I wanna know!!!

  • sounds like someones gettin lucky in the background

  • dobry patent ale nie do 30 litrów.

  • ok anyone can answer this. my tank just has gravel and it has fish but what could i do to change the substrate what would be the easiest way??

  • @sred112 Right

  • @sred112 Thays O2 being produced by the plants

Pozdrawiam.

  • @tytubapl Now I use 0,5 L plastic bottle and still is OK. 1,5 L bottle is better but too big for 200 L tank (not easy to cover).

  • how did you do that .,. can y send me how to set that kind of tank like yours ?.,.!

  • Super, polska inwencja zawsze gora...Bomba!!!

  • what type of powerhead is this?

  • Just a powerhead. About 400 l/h. Any powerhead you use will be OK.

  • how do you figure out how much CO2 you need? Or would you run this all the time?

  • I don't use any measurement stuff for checking CO2 level in the tank. Just apply and it is OK. Never had any problems with fish or water so looking good. Now I use high pressure tank and I count about 1 bubble/sec. From my site I observe a BIG difference between dosing / no dosing CO2. With CO2 the plants rocket, everyday taller. The simple stone method or similar is not enough for 200L tank. I recommend this one. Just try to hide this stuff behind the plants, place it on the back of the tank.

  • I use this as well, but only with 0.5 l bottle. It works perfectly. And less cleaning, than with flipper. Same ammount of CO2 through this system makes my all plants bubbling, but with dennerle flipper, there was almost no bubbles. And i had to clean it every week...

  • Polak!

  • la bottiglia è tutta aperta sotto??bella idea!!complimenti...!!

  • Lookin good and green..Cheers!!

hmm i though i hear people talking Dutch:)

  • it's polish actually

    so do i think!!

  • probably polish..... :D cause of the photo gallery which is @ PL :D

  • lukaschenko diktatura ? haha ^^

    Nice! Greets from russian

  • Do DIY Co2 generators have to be above the tank's water level to be able to push the bubbles through the tubing? I have nowhere to sit my bottles above the tank (plus it looks ugly) and have resorted to squeezing the bottles slightly to fill my diffuser with Co2. This seems to fill the diffuser bell with enough for half a day.

  • You are doing something wrong. My CO2 generator constantly pushes 3-5 bubbles/s since two days now. Nope, it doesn't need to be above the water

Super pomysl. Gratulacje.

  • jak milo uslyszec rodaka:)

  • when will u show us how you made this? i want to make some sort of external CO2 diffuser...

  • get a pump with air intake , a plastic cap and a bottle .

Make a hole with fire it the cap and something from iron or so make it fit on the pump , and you're ready to go .

If you have a other pump with no air in take , fit a tube to it between the bottle and the pump, make a hole ,put in the hole a airtube and suction will do the rest peace

  • ok if i pump air into a plastic bottle from the cap the air is going to build up in there and eventually send the bottle floating (assuming the bottle has holes under it) -- or if it doesn't have holes under it it's going to blow up and then there WILL be holes in it...

How does the CO2 get diffused in there? And how does the co2 come out? This looks cool!

  • This is how the guy did it in the video , just make sure to attach your pump to aquarium ;).

The co2 get's diffused by pressure , all the air and water comes out in the hole below in the bottom

  • i'm not understanding what "this" is and you still didn't tell me where the CO2 is coming from and why the air isn't building up in the video.

Anyways I hope he makes a better vid

  • The co2 just come out of the pump ( air is not building up because the water is pushing and rubbing it in to the aquarium

    I hope i answered you're question

  • Ok I see bubbles shooting down from the top of the bottle then floating back up. I don't see any bubbles coming up anywhere outside the bottle (maybe I'm blind?) but are those oxygen bubbles or CO2 bubbles?

Is there an air pump involved AND a water pump or just an air pump? Can I use a regular bubbler to do this?

I'm just saying there's a LOT of bubbles (gas) in that bottle and no bubbles coming up outside the bottle so what's happening to them? Are they just being recirculated w/ a pump?

  • If you look closely you can see the bubbles , and i think it's the quality 2.

You can use a air pump or just the air valve that's on pumps these day's.

The bubbles are brushing in the bottle and brushing the water , only very small bubbles will come.

It's very easy m8 , bottle , little cap and some tubing :)

hope to have awnsered your questions

    take care,

    Love and peace

  • Check out this video 3:09 , this was one i mad for one of my smaller aquariums

    watch?v=BCUKCU-Ietw&feature=PlayList&p=3F818B399ACA8BA2&index=14

  • Now that I've gotten an understanding for your level of intelligence I realize why your explanations are not making any sense... You are 2x more confused about this than I am... LoL -- You still haven't answered the question...

  • Why are you attacking me again? .

You can use a normal power head , some have a co2 tube and trough suction you will get bubbles . You can do this but you need to keep the powerhead close to the service.

You can use a normal powerhead with a air pump , or a co2 bottle with pump.

The "gas" will be pushed and brushed inside the bottle pushing only the smallest bubbles out with the power head.

Take care no more fighting please , I'm dutch it's normal that we get lost in translation peace

  • your resistance only makes my penis harder!

  • dude really you dont get it? the co2 needs to be in as much contact with the water as possible so it can go over into the water ! they get less because they go over into the water that is pushed out !

  • srsly dude are you that stupid?

  • i don't have sound and the video shows bubbles just moving around in the bottle. i don't see them coming out...

it seems to me that you're the one that's lacking my young friend. you're clearly as confused about this as i am or you would have an explanation instead of insults.

    youtube is getting really pathetic...

  • Hey m8 , it's because the bubbles are that small in the aquarium that you don't see them ( low quality of the video all so )

I did not try to insult you .

    Take care

  • i know ur not insulting me man i was talking to lerobster on some of those comments... my bad if i replied to you by accident. it's cuz he was like "really are you that dumb?"

  • oooh oke no worries m8

  • from the air pump with powerhead or a normal powerhead with a airtube ( you need to keep the powerhead close to the service to get the air suction.

the air isn't building up because of the powerhead that is pushing water trough the bottle and brushing water / co2 and pushing the smallest bubbles a way .( Yes it can be that the bottle want's to go up , just make it secure

    Peace

  • Ok but what's on top of the bottle head that's making the air bubbles circulate? It can't be an air pump. If it was it would just build up air until the bottle was a giant secured air vesel and plus shouldn't it be using CO2 instead of AIR?

  • I think that it's the powerhead that makes it circulate and he attached a air tube with Co2 or air , ( would go for the co2).

Every Air bubble will push another one out of the bottle , it does not keep up building

  • no, your close, but u didnt hit it yet.co2 generator, but i see that he cut the bottom of the bottle off (the co2 mixed with the water will leave through the gravel)

he did link up a crazy

  • what kind of powerhead is weak enough to push the bubbles DOWN in the bottle but then the bubbles return up to the powerhead to get pushed down again? Is that like a "10G PH" or how do they rate PH's? I want to see if I can figure out how to do this in a coconut shell w/ a hole in the bottom of it so I can cover it w/ moss and make it look like a moss ball.

I have a coconut shell perfect for it except I already used it for pina colladas :-P

  • Yeah you got it and If the camera was better you would see very small and little co2 or air bubbles escaping from the bottom , you can put a spons or something to make the bubbles even smaller .

Ahaha that's a excellent idea.I have some moss balls in my aquarium they are very nice.

    Take care

  • well if it's 100% diffusion doesn't that mean it can't be seen?

i think they circulate in the bottle and the CO2 water is what comes out the bottom.

i'm gonna try to buy a power head from petco or something and make one of these and see if i get the same effect. because if those ARE CO2 bubbles circulating in the bottle that's a VERRRRRRY efficient method.

  • Hehe true,

    You can always try m8.

    Gl with making .

    Peace,

    Erik

  • He has some shit connected to the side... now I see what you're saying about the bubble coming up every second.

But that's wierd how accurate it is if according to your theory it's just the addition of new bubbles that push one out per second...

    This is WIERD SHIT!

I miss my plants... my CO2 died off and now all my plants are rotting.

    Sad

  • Dmn man that's really sad :(.

Hope that you will find something soon .

    Lobe and peace

  • Dude you need to get some Co2 fast , you can do it DIY very easy , watch?v=IZFM9ZpaqGM&feature=related

Get a powerhead connect a air tube , halve coce bottle and some imagination and your ready

P.s you need a quite powerfull powerhead to get the effect this guy got.

    Take care

  • its the complete opposite, it isnt that powerful or, he has a FKLOAD of co2 coming out from the tube

  • dude it isn't a hard principle if you're not misinformed... somebody told me this is done with an air pump and the oxygen makes the CO2 diffuse.

LoL -- I just relase co2 bubbles in my powerheads intake and the propeller breaks it up. It shoots out BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of tiny bubbles from one little bubble. CRAZY.

  • lol good idea, easy and doesnt require you to buy extra stuff. Will give it a go.

  • -.- IDJIT!

the co2 diffuses with the water, the water leaves out of the bottom of the bottle through the gravel, it isnt that hard of a principle

  • EAT SHIT SLANDEROUS CUNT!

  • Elo everybody. The new construction is on the way. Little bit smaller, this one is too big for 200L tank. For the next one I'll use 0,25 L bottle or even smaller. This one is good for 1000L or more.

  • Don't pay any attention to those negative comments. Your plants look very healthy and I don't see algae, keep up the good work.

  • Bull shit !

  • OK, let's say you right, but can you explain to me where is the algae problem? I can't see that but like you said I don't know too much...

  • OK. Hi guys. I'v got a lot of comments and questions about this diffuser, how it is made, how it works, what about the results. Today I will prepare some new movie to show the plants and the stop motion sequence to show you plants progress. Looks cool. One good think with this self made diffuser is 100% efficacy with CO2 diffusing and dosing 1 bubble for 3 - 4 seconds is more than enough. I'll let you now when the new movie and stuff will be ready. Yo!

  • Tell us what's happening. It looks fun.

  • Thanks for the explanation:(

  • Yeah, how did you make it?

  • Nice plants man can you explain what is going on there now?
