But when you have listened to their songs a couple of times you'll understand the messages of their music and what they mean or what they (Coldplay) want us to know. If you understand the messages you will see that their songs aren't that depressing as far as the lyrics are concerned. I do agree that the instrumental part of their songs often are a bit depressing, but still magnificent.
