With all this news about the iPad 3 coming out with a retina display, and tech has moved forward and everything now is all about 720p displays, does this mean that when the iPad 3 comes out with retina display, once again it will have outdated specs?

@zoics1 Retina isn't in reference to the resolution(which by the way, the iPad and iPad 2 had HD resolutions), retina is in reference to the pixel count in the screen.

@zoics1 no, because retina on an ipad will have resolution far greater than 720p. It will actually have resolution of greater than 1080p. the reason its not 720p on the iphone is because it is smaller. hope this helped. :)

@LACK78 Another year, no iPod Classic refresh. I realise i'm in the minority that likes to carry entire discographies around with them, but a 320GB model would've been much appreciated (it's not extra volume i seek, just space for Hi-Fi rips). Everything Samsung did, Windows Mobile 7.5 & the Windows 8 preview were the main highlights for me.

the ipad3 wont be that big of a deal, everyone says its going to have a really high resolution, and quad core, i personally think its going to have a faster duel core proccesor, 1 gig of ram, prob like 5 mp camera mabe 8, other then that the resolution might be slightly higher but not a huge diff. overall not a huge diff

Your brand is Transformers which is plural and not Transformer prime which is not. @rdl008 Well, Asus is riding on the popularity of Hasbro's robot character giving it a model name like that - some people wouldn't have given it a second look if it was some alpha-numeric name. I guess Hasbro just wants to be compensated for this.
