they shouldn't sell RTC to just anyone whos got the cash! should need proof you can house a fish that grows to 4 n half foot long WHICH IS LONGER THAN YOUR TANK you bellend. only a very stupid, or very delusional person would be so cruel. your not alone tho! lost count of how many vids on here of rtc in tanks not big enough for 2 oscars let alone a rtc. WANKAS!
Dude that's not a fire eel.... That's Tiretrack eel.....
And like people was saying......Go buy a big tank you moran! That tank is damn small for the RTC. RTC can grow to 2'~3'(feets). If you don't buy a bigger tank like 180 gallon or 295 gallon I bet your RTC is going to die. Trust me I been breeding for 2~3 years. I got my own pond. each pond is 15,000 gallons. I have fire eels before it's about 3'(feets) it took me about 1/2 years to make them grow to 3 feets.
Drgnfrc. Don't criticize the dude about the tank size. You can keep an rtc in a 55 gallon while he is small. Yeah he will need a bigger tank for him when he gets bigger but he is fine for now. By the way that's a great tank.
wow. you have a small ass tank for your cichlids. that tank itself is not even big enough to house a oscar. and you have poor filtration. too many fishes in a small tank= high levels of ammonia. i i am betting your fishes are dead by now
be a good idea to keep that RTC really really fat, that keeps mine from getting to ravenous. If you keep him real fat, he should be fine, try and feed the catfish pellets, that will also make him less aggressive to other fish.
your tank has a lot of problems! african cichlids require the exact opposite ph as the other fish in that tank, the RTC will eat EVERYTHING in that tank, and your green terror is going to have some major aggression problems with the african cichlids. also an RTC can easily grow to more than 4ft and requires an absolute minimum of 2,000 gallons, and the fire eel will be about 3ft in the next three years, requiring at least a 125g tank
really.. darn! i am trying to control its eating habits.. like feed it twice a day only... its pretty hard for me to feed my eel though as its quite timid and normally when i feed them blood worms the other fishes will be the first to finish them

1992pattrow 2 years ago 2
@1992pattrow no ft is fine for an oscar but no smaller but the redtail needs a much larger tank
Alexthefish123 1 year ago
