The First part of his speech really catch every persons attention but the second and 3rd part its a bit boring.I do really admire his efforts in saving million of lives but on how he DELIVER his speech is not that we could say very ENTERTAINING.His good in Developing software but not good as a PUBLIC SPEAKER...overall his a good person who has a big HEART!

its good bill gates is talking about it but no one can change inequality. its true u can try your best, u can convey it to others but the main thing that gates is forgetting is that not everyone is same. some ppl listen through one ear and take it out from other. u can help other ppl out, be an example to others but still it would not matter. look at the whole picture. bill gates and warren contribute so much to charity. they make a difference (yeah) but overall does anyone care. Yea so far it's all about how people should handle or deal with problems, mostly medical problems, and in the end just for life saving....It's typical problem but i hate one thing is that how he is concerning the world (WHY do we always have to give a shit about anything which is happening outside of this county, and it is NO threat to us?) I say FUCK IT, we save them and one day we see one of them HIJACKING a PLANE and killing million people of OURS.

They came to hear a rich man speak so they could learn about how he became wealthy, the last thing they expected him to talk about was love. Perhaps it's his compassion and willingness to love others that truely makes him wealthy, if that were the case I think most people would prefer poverty. It's amazing how many people stopped watching this video after the first part.

It's only after they had fulfilled their enrichment purposes, they gave themselves time to think about the others less fortunate. And this is not a bad thing at all. It may have been more profound and genuine if he'd given his money away in secret, then his sincerity would be above reproach. Gates speaks on changing the world, improving it and bringing about new eras that we have never before imagined, while steve just told stories about his success and failures, with no real message other than to live your life in the moment, and let destiny take care of the rest, which is what most people do and fail. He got lucky, but that doesn't change how he is only looking at now, while gates looks forward.

You're not focusing too much on the speech because, honestly, you're just plain BORED. It's human nature to be bored with something like that. I was this way at my graduation, and we didn't have any special speakers. Hell, even if we had, I probably would've gotten antsy too. Think about it. Seriously.
