thanks for posting.. I live in Leichhardt and had evacuate out, first day today with power was unable to know what was going on around Ipswich as I was stuck at a mates place in Bundamba. We were lucky at my place, but neighbours have lost most or everything..
i live in brassall and was not effected but the local high school and primary school both went under. i never got a chance to get to the center of town but holly crap. where was the last bit at?
@KoolenKat The last bit was at King Edward Parade/Blackall St, East ipswich. I live at Silkstone and was only affected by flash flooding, this is all river.

Thanks for this....I live in London and i am worried about my home town. Sister lives in Brassall and her house just went under. I got land in Minden and I don't even know wha'ts happening there but lucky there's not much on it.

bobkats.......well done for holding fundraiser but reconsider who you give the proceeds to.I would not give 1 cent to our worst premier in history and her henchmen..they can not be trusted to use the money correctly.I am donating directly to needy families in my area as that way I know it is reaching those who need it and not used for some junket

i cant believe this....i moved to sydney two and a half years ago and ive never been so happy to have moved. this is truly incredible. i believe Ipswich will pull through though. all the best.
