People who have no patience for point-and-click adventure games basically hate books and don't give a hootenanny about narratives. These games are like more interactive versions of choose-your-own-adventure books. Video games nowadays made everybody who plays them attention-deficit button-mashing zombies.
@H264Movies I haven't meant the look of characters and world around them, but models. Polygon count and details are like five years ago... Just look at interior of the car. There could be much more detail.
They should have used the original movie dialogue in the intro vid, Doc's ''You're going to see some serious shit'' doesn't feel right without the undertone and Doc's voice sounds weak and vulnerable compared to the movie version (ofcourse he actor got older but meh)
ok, here is my question. So I have this game on PS3, but im not really patient and i hate waiting one more month for an episode when i know they already have it on PC. So since i already bought it on my PS3, should i buy it again on my computer (13 inch MacBook Pro) just so i could have the episode right when it comes out or be patient and wait for it on my PS3??
@ToNotification although it is good to get the game when it releases, i feel it is much more enjoyable to use a controller, i got this on the pc, and i connected my laptop to my tv, and used a wireless controller to my laptop, but some times you have to click on a item and you can't do it with a controller, so that means your using keys which i feel is not best suited for this game, also the save function is not great. so yeh be patient its only 1 month, hope this helped :)

Plus, it'd be easier to recreate not just characters, but locations and items in various timeframes.

@ShadowsFilmsStudios When Telltale engine was first developed in 2004, it had an express goal of being cheap to develop, and cheap to produce storytelling content in, at the expense of visual variety and quality, and able to run on sub-par PC laptops, and this game does too. This had to be like that, because frankly, the purely storytelling genres simply don't generate enough revenue to put major effort into, and the point-and-click fanbase is largely disjoint from the usual game buyers.
Who gives a rat's ass about graphics? Graphics do not make storylines, fun factor or an experience, just make things pretty. This game looks fun as hell, and brings me back to my nostalgic days. I think this cartoon look fits perfectly with the overall feel of the game. I mean, the movie wasn't meant to be serious, even though some parts were, it was mean to be a fun adventure, which I feel this game could do.

@seannnooo also there was no Garage sale and the clocks were all the same time and they were 25 minutes slow. and it was marty that flew off from the amplifier instead of biff. and Doc didn't have the Mr. Fusion after he went back from the future.

This game appears to make sense, since the character's have Robert Zemeckis's dead CGI eyes.

the graphics look shitty, like honestly this is not a game for the Wii or something this is for the PS3 the console with the most power engine! why didn't they do a good job on the game? why didn't they at least make the cut scenes?
I was really pumped for this game but after seeing the final product I'm really put off from buying... I love BTTF but I'm not going to buy crap just becasue it something I loved as a child and still do. all this is, is away to make money of classic movie franchise..

@ShadowsFilmsStudios You have no idea how utterly wrong you are about everything you said here. Apparently anything that's fairly stylized and cartoony automatically equals shitty to you. Even I can tell that the game itself isn't crap.

@ShadowsFilmsStudios When Telltale engine was first developed in 2004, it had an express goal of being cheap to develop, and cheap to produce storytelling content in, at the expense of visual variety and quality, and able to run on sub-par PC laptops, and this game does too. This had to be like that, because frankly, the purely storytelling genres simply don't generate enough revenue to put major effort into, and the point-and-click fanbase is largely disjoint from the usual game buyers.

Who gives a rat's ass about graphics? Graphics do not make storylines, fun factor or an experience, just make things pretty. This game looks fun as hell, and brings me back to my nostalgic days. I think this cartoon look fits perfectly with the overall feel of the game. I mean, the movie wasn't meant to be serious, even though some parts were, it was mean to be a fun adventure, which I feel this game could do.

@hcvang Just realized it was released in 2010.. 1 month before 2011. almost every single game released in 2010+ are better than this game's graphics.

@RickLMint123 fuckin' a... graphics dont mean shit. they've only improved marginally since 2000 anyway, so who cares. It's just like movies... nobody cares about special effects (if you have a brain), but care about the stories, the writing, acting... just the same in games. Is the game fun? good story? plays well? allright... oh, looks less than good? wgas?!

Its my honesty. ANimation was kinda blocky. Not a as fluent. Voice acting was kinda out of sync. Still good. 3/5 count. my best.

@seannnooo no what i mean to say is that in the movie when Doc says look out in the movie einstein comes back from the future but in this game it didn't follow einstein didn't come back. And this is supposed to happen before marty was rich and when Biff was a jerk to him and his dad. But when George talked to Biff. Biff talked how he was at the end of Back to the future one.

@seannnooo also there was no Garage sale and the clocks were all the same time and they were 25 minutes slow. and it was marty that flew off from the amplifier instead of biff. and Doc didn't have the Mr. Fusion after he went back from the future.

Ah.... a point and click adventure. Ironically, a game format that rose and fell in popularity in the time between the last movie and this game. I love it ^^
