Well - I must say - I wondered how this was going to be when I first started the clip rolling - and I must say - Im impressed! Tino pai to waiata, e hoa - great song pal.
you really do have a beautiful voice! I like this song too. I only know a handful of Maori songs but love how they always have such a beatiful melody. Your soprano sounds great too! I was the same when I first got mine... didnt know what Id ever use the larger ones for but Ive found each song needs a slightly different sound, so I now have a soprano and concert and a tenor!
@siankummer Thanks again Siany. Maori songs are always really fun to sing. For me, the only uke I've not got experience on is the baritone and the new ubass.
haha this is funny, I've started learning the Uke and wanted to learn Maori songs and all I get is a non kiwi singing them teaching me! Great Job, I'm glad you take interest and you don't butcher the songs at all, and best of all, now I have videos to learn off :D
@Hemiwise Hey mate. Many thanks for your kind and generous comments. I happen to have a fascination for the Maori language. I wish I could speak more than just sing a few Maori songs. I'm glad you approve. Thanks again mate.

Yes, you are right. There's something really special about the sopranos that is absent in the bigger girls. Who says size is important... nice things come in small packages ;) And I've noticed you primarily play the sopranos. I need to get another soprano... major UAS right now.
hey this is aweesome !!! .. whats he chords ? im down to jam to this , chords please . ka pai

Sounding wonderful. There is, indeed, something about sopranos that the bigger ones lose.
