  • I belive a SnowSport HD would a better and cost's about $1000.00 less. I modified one with alift system for about $100.00 and lets me pile better and back drag. This is still a nice little plow you have .

  • if you consider how much the truck ways, using a 2wd isn't a crazy idea. simply put lots of weight in the back and some good tires. tires make all the difference

  • very true

  • The plow costs approx $2500.00 - so its not the same cost and it's not even close to the same weight of a std plow - bobbyb1979 - get the real facts about what you are talking about before looking like an idiot

  • do yourself a favor, buy a western homersteader or a snoway. That thing looks like a piece of shit,it costs the same amount as a hydralic controlled plow and it weighs about the same.

  • If you hit a snowbank (or curb, or whatever) hard enough, would it set off the airbags?

  • no?

  • it should work fine for light stuff...you'd want good tires, and extra weight in the back. The plow is light enough that it doesn't weigh the front of the truck down. There's a version for atv's also. It's pretty much the same as what you see on the video, except it uses smaller 3" air cylinders rather than the 4" ones, and uses a shorter moldboard.

  • is that 2wd or 4?

  • The S-10 is a 4 wheel drive, 5 speed. It's completely stock, with no suspension modifications. This plow is really lightweight...two people can easially pick up the entire works, and carry it. There is also a light package for this plow, just like the larger versions that Northman manufactures.

  • how do you think it would work on a 2wd auto 2.2l ?

  • thanks. one more question. how much weight do you think would be ideal?

  • these plows weigh about 250 lbs...a little more with the optional light kit. I would suggest putting about 500 lbs of weight in your box ot offset the plow weight, and to put more downforce on your drive wheels. You may get by with less, if you have a topper on your truck.

  • It's something you will need to experiment with. :)

  • thanks. i appreciate it.

  • Like he asked would it work well on a 2wd with a bunch of weight?

  • looks good ryan and other workers. keep up the good work!
