Trailblazer Speedometer failure

Crazy GM is making me sick I have a Escalade and the damn speedometer is doing the same thing I haven't called a dealer I might have a stroke when they say how much I'm going to diy...

I have a 2004 Trailblazer. The Tach, Speedometer, Fuel gauge, and heater fan all stopped working. Last year replaced front left hub... now the right side is gone. I've had Chevy's all my life... this is the biggest piece of junk I have ever had. NO MORE GM FOR ME. But I don't want to buy Japanese... Guess I'll give Ford a try?

Any vehicle manufacturer would charge a fee like that to fix that issue when a vehicle is not under warranty. Would you fix that for me for nothing in a vehicle past warranty?

I'm having this same problem right now! I have a 2005 trailblazer, I was told that it needed to be fixed or it will ruin the transmission! Post any additional information or updates about this problem. Thanks

I have a 2004 Chevy SSR with simular problem. Does any one know how to get the Dash appart with out setting off the air bag?

disconnect the battery and the fuses for the air bag system

Yes but then the Anti theft system shuts down everything. So I end up having to have my Ca Towed to Dealer. No Help more expense.

Nissan wants $80 just to buy the speedometer cabel for a 92 pathfinder. That is to do it myself, not for them to do it. Easy job but come on, $80. All I can say is its a 92 with over 220k miles, have to spend money some time

Thats Nothing new to me work on them for three years trailblazers did that and c/k full size trucks did the same thing not a hard fix

Hmmm that's strange. Maybe it's a bad sensor or a short somewhere.

i got 2004 chevy cavalier. theres nothing wrong with it. i know some one got ford truck and hes gas meter dos not work it say low fuel but hes got fuel in the truck. GMC got good trucks and cars. $800.00 just get that fix damn thats high.
