o' wow, you are a great teacher!!... but i am totally stuck at 1:06 i cant figure out what string and what fret you're hammering on/ puling off...can you help me.
thanks for you great sharing.
i live in chinas western yunnan province...lots of old time music here but not, the appalachian kind...so your'e a valuable resource!
@drescherhenrik I'm fretting the 3rd string at the second fret and hitting that with my frailing finger, and then plucking the open 2d string with my left hand. Have fun!
great videos... love the sound of banjo in the woods... Btw do you have any CDs - what would I look under and where would I find them (name/title/serial/label etc#) ? - will try track a few down! I really enjoy your style. thx for posting
I sent you a video response to thank you for recording this. I learnt it a few days ago from this video. If you have a chance to review it im always up for pointers. I have been playing claw hammer for about a year now. Thanks again.

Great tune and wonderful pop in the rhythm .. I like the tar paper keeping your wood dry as well . Sorry we missed seeing your dog ! If you are near New England it would be fun to get together and play .. Im In Connecticut and have a pottery shop . I do a lot of rhythm work with my pinky and chord washes as well that way . All the best , Guy
