  • What's the LB and the PLS? Anyways, so my teacher's reading the Magician's Nephew to our class and I'm so excited to hear it!! BTW: This is most likely to be FAN MADE because they haven't made a movie of the MN yet. (I wish, though.) And that what did that guy say at 0:13? "Would you look at that?", maybe....? I dunno. PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My favorite...I grew up on this, reading it over and over...I still have my stuffed Lion, named Aslan. The beginnings of my love of fantasy........ But is it fantasy> I think not, in so many ways................

  • I only just finished reading the Magicans nephew. What do I think of it? It was awesome!

  • @RAPUNZELinspiration I agree! It is amazing! What's your favorite part?

  • what?? #OMG dammit :(

  • FuCK the

  • 0:13 what?? Lol.

  • check out "The Magician's Newphew" on my channel!

  • HEY1

  • But that I do not a promise I intend to keep, that one line is the architect of the Narnian Universe!

  • The Magicians nephew is the best of all the other Books. And It should be the first book to be made a movie

  • im tottal completley agree with u the first book is the beeeeeeeeeest of all and i wish they make it a movie

  • yes, I agree! ...maybe it was very difficult to be made into a movie...

  • i disagree, i think they did good in not making the magician's nephew the first movie. i LOVED the first book, but i watched the movies before i read the books and i think it would be better if they make the movie after all the others (AND THEY BETTER MAKE THAT MOVIE OR ELSE!) so all the people who didn't read the books would be like "Oooooooooh!" -like me! it just made the books/movies better when i found out that they were all connected!

  • yeah i guess you're right! i also watched the movies before reading the books and was like -ooohh!-

  • actually no. the reason why Magicians Nephew wasnt made as the first movie was because the ppl who were apart of making the narnia books into movies chose to make the movies in publication order. but i do agree tht Magicians Nephew was the best Narnia book. :-)

  • what I dont get is why is the movies in the wrong order ? I mean it doesnt make sense for the Magicians Nephew to be 6 does it ?? because in the book there creating narnia. soo..i dont really understand

  • The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe was the first book that C.S. Lewis wrote. And the Magician's Nephew is the sixth. He decided to write how Narnia came to be after he wrote the other four.

  • yes but the series goes Magicians Nephew, LWW Prince Caspian VOTDT

silver chair and then the last battle

  • it does not it goes LWW first...just because magician's nephew is a prequel doesn't mean you should read it first...it will make LWW weaker if you already know about the wardrobe

  • Actually, the order is LWW, P/C, THHB, VODT, S/C, L/B & MN, PLS NO THAT THAT THE HORSE AND HIS BOY WAS A STORY WROTE BY CS LEWIS WAS AN ADVENTURE WHEN THE KINGS AND QUEENS OF NARNIA REIGNED, WHICH TOLD THE STRY OF ARAVIS AND HER HORSE BREE

  • i don't get why they didn't do this book as a film

  • They are making the films in Publication order, and that would make The Magician's Nephew the 6th film to be made.

(Later some re-ordered the Narnia books into chronological order which made MN the first in the series.)

  • @Chimplockgrapehead do not worry the book will have a movie this 2011

  • in the magiciens nephew there are 2 bad people Queen Jadis (white witch) and lady kirknal?

  • The Lady of the Green Kirtle (I'm assuming that is who you are referring too) is in "The Silver Chair".

But, you are right, I guess you could say there are two "bad" people. Uncle Andrew and Queen Jadis.

  • uh i don't remember lady kirknal and i just the book

  • Mahtsfeather. I would guess that ruins around Abu Simbel are supposed to represent tje ruins of Charn. You know, the place where Queen Jadis comes from.

  • My only real problem was the pic of Abu Simbel at the end. What does it have to do with The Magician's Nephew? Otherwise, not really bad at all.

  • That's an awesome teaser!

  • Sound effects and voice were good, but the picture quality just ruined it...and er.. the "actors"

  • Thanks for your very indepth and thought provoking analysis. I'm sure much time when into your comment. lol

  • lool funny

  • would hav been gd if they made the magicians nephew first or evn summed it up in 10 mins at the start of the LWW, nice vid

  • look at the wardrobe in the film. the carvings on it tell the story of the magician's nephew. plus they will make the film in the future

  • Nice job. I suppose that guy was supposed to be Uncle Andrew...he looked really good. ;)

Great job! I can't wait for MN.

  • its a home made video!

  • ur really good try making one trailer for all of them

  • that was a good trailor :D

and also that was my favorite book to read.

i like the beggining it looked so realistic :D

  • there was the movie ???

  • no there wasnt

  • i loved this book! LWW didn't make much sense to me until I read this one

  • I would loooove to see that movie!

That was my favorite book out of all of them.

If this was a real trailer for a movie, I would be ecstatic. =]

  • Yeah, I wish a real trailer would come out soon as well.

  • WOW! sugar you raised the creepy level to new heights.

  • little bummed out this book did not come out first seeing as it is the first bookrather than Lion withc and the wardrobe.

  • It was actually the 6th book published, but than the books were re-ordered chronologically in 1995. The films are following publication order, not chronological order.

  • That was good. The line was fittingly ominous and mysterious. Good work.

  • Thank you, although if I did it again I would probably make have a little less echo.

  • U did a realy good job:)

  • Thanks!

  • I'd go to see that movie. 5 stars.

  • .......................wow

  • cool

  • I started reading Narnia by reading this book, -because that was the order they were editing them in spanish-, but there wasn't any spoiler thanks to C. S. Lewis, just a little step to read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

  • that was awesome...NOT!!

  • Thanks for the compliment. jk

I would appreciate it much more if you would give some helpful criticism.

  • fake shit

  • No one said it was real, man. The "About this Video" menu says clearly "that I created".

  • But that makes no sense! And it's not even in publication order because "The Magician's Nephew" was the last one to be published. C.S. Lewis wrote it because he felt the need to give out a more details about the creation of Narnia and about characters such as the White Witch (known as Empress Jadis in TMN) and Aslan.

Seriously they're going to mess up the series! If that's the way it's going to be I'm not sure I want to watch the rest of the movies...

  • Well, first of all, according to wikipedia, TLB was published after MN.

Also, up until 1994 when the books were renumbered, everyone read in the books in the order that I just posted (except HHB came before MN). For over 40 years the series was read in that order. So, how could filming it in that order suddenly be "messing it up"?

  • I agree, except that The Last Battle wasn't published first. You wouldn't understand the last battle without having already read the Magician's Nephew, anyhow. Wikipedia must have messed up again.

  • dude it was published second to last

  • Right, that is why I said they are making the films "basically" in publication order. They are swapping HAHB and MN.

  • No, actually, I understand that they are planning on filming those books as-well.

  • I'm reading the book and it's getting aweseome! I hope the movie comes out!

  • Pity Walden Media has chosen not to adapt "The Magician's Nephew". A huge mistake in my opinion as it would explain the origins of Narnia and the White Witch as well.

  • According to the producer Mark Johnson, they plan on releasing the films in the following order:

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

    Prince Caspian

    Voyage of the Dawn Treader

    The Silver Chair

    The Magician's Nephew

    The Horse and His Boy

    The Last Battle

They are filming that basically in publication order rather than chronological order. As long as they keep making money, Walden Media is going to keep making them.

  • good job! that's one of my favorite books, can't wait for that movie!

  • Flippin' Awesome!! Great job!

  • pretty cool!
