Hey man i really like that desk you have with the two monitor stands built onto it. I am in the market of buying something like that. Can I ask where you bought it at? Thanks soo much
thanks. check out my latest video titled "Upgraded Recording Studio". Major software and hardware updates added. Took time, research and moneu to get what I wanted. :) Peace.
Yes, the Roland VS2400CD is easy to use. Quick editing and effects function. I recorded a live band before with it. Unfortunately, the VS2400CD is discontinued. You will have to search on ebay. It doesn't come with a USB or firewire port either. I don't have a Mac, I use a PC with Cubase and Sequel2(similar to Garageband) and various virtual instruments. Make sure to get a computer that has 2GB Ram or more 4GB ideally and a hard drive with 500GB or more with speed of 7200rpm for your recordings.
So i've been looking into it and was thinking the Roland VS-2400 would definately suit my needs. It seems pretty simple, and self-maintaining (no need for extra software, hardware), and the monitor and mouse function is perfect.
can you help me out on deciding which is better. and would it be best to get both the Vs-2400 and a mac just to be able to fool around in garageband and stuff like that?
Yes, you are correct. I did have a m-audio premobile unit, but sold it last year. I have a Tascam FW 1082 and Konnekt Desktop 6 audio interface unit now. I will have to post a new video soon of all the upgrades in my studio.

hello,
i am looking to finally get a studio in order to start recording some of my own songs that I don't have the time to record at a bigger studio.
I've tried using a Mac and Pro Tools, but seeing as how i have a VERY tight budget, they were both old, and the Digi001 basically killed my Mac.

sounds awesome
my current set up is easy, plug my keyboard into my mobilepre, and acoustic guitars and vocals through mics..
i found that as the cheapest way to get some good sound..
looking to upgrade to a more professional setup once i get some more cash though
sick studio

nice cello...seems there isn't enough "real music" being recorded these days. Make a video of you playing cello being recorded.
