  • hi! I'm writting from Argentina. What's that smoke? Does it function? I'm trying to bild an axial turbine but bigger than it, something like 15" at the top of the stages. Something bigger but not so much. Is that one homemade?

    Thanks, Adriel.

  • Sounds like its pretty much ELECTRIC powered....never even ramped fuel

  • Even a perfectly working axial jet engine scale down to that size wouldn't work.

Thus, you always see micro jet engine using centrifugal compressor.

  • Great, that's what I was looking for, what's is the power ratio if more then 1 compressor stage is used?

Can you double the power from a single stage turbine if you use a 2 stage compressor?

  • You should look at the yahoo group called "DIYGasTurbines" I am sure they could really help you with this.

  • hey that's pretty good ! I did the same thing and the same problem i think! Look at your compressor stage ! if you can make a pic of your compressor i will help you! if you want it ^^

    but it's very good!

  • Hi John,

The engine has a 5 stage axial compressor combined with a 2 stage axial turbine.

    regards,

    Jos

  • @josvanderwerf who makes it??? this is the first one like that i seen. they all use turbo compressors, this one looks way more efficient

  • hi there interesting project, how many compressor stages u got? and turbine? cheers, John
